UGREEN: New in-ear headphones “HiTune X5” presented

UGREEN presents the new EarBuds HiTune X5 wireless stereo headphones, which are to continue the concept of the HiTune series. Under “Style Meets Substance” UGREEN subsumes its approach: visually appealing, ergonomically designed and at the same time high quality should be the headphones of the HiTune series.

True Wireless Stereo Sound

Inside the headphones, Qualcomm’s QCC3040 processor is at work, providing true-wireless stereo sound. The headphones rely on aptX technology and thus not only want to provide high-quality sound, but also low latencies. In addition, there is the so-called Superbass technology, which is supposed to improve the representation of lows in particular and thus contribute to the most authentic reproduction of rock and rap songs. Meanwhile, a diaphragm foil is supposed to provide particularly good sound in the treble and midrange areas.

Furthermore, noise cancellation CVC 8.0, Bluetooth 5.2 support and a battery that provides up to 28 hours of playtime are added. The headphones should thus also be suitable for use on the go. They are charged in a USB-C charging case. After 90 minutes, the battery is fully charged; after fifteen minutes of charging, there is enough energy for an hour of playtime.

Ergonomic design for comfortable grip

With all that said, UGREEN promises a comfortable fit, which is said to be largely due to the fact that the in-ear headphones were designed with ergonomics in mind. The shortened, oval-shaped plugs, for example, are supposed to contribute to a better hold in the ear. In addition, the in-ear pieces feature a 30-degree tilt angle, which is supposed to ensure that they fit the shape of the ear ideally. Furthermore, the headphones are IPX5 certified, meaning they are protected against splashing water or sweat.

Price and availability

The HiTune X5 are available since July 23. The price is around 49.99 euros. In the first two weeks after the sales start 30% discount possible, making the price at 34.99 euros.
