The accessory brand UGREEN is expanding its charging portfolio with a new 2-in-1 station for MagSafe-compatible devices. The Zapix 2-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charger 15W is now listed on Amazon and offers a cost-effective alternative to significantly more expensive Qi2 or MagSafe premium solutions. With up to 15 watts of power for iPhones and an additional charging area for AirPods, the compact device is primarily aimed at users who value functionality, safety and a sleek design.

MagSafe entry without premium price
With the Zapix 2-in-1, UGREEN is focusing on a price-performance concept that deliberately sets itself apart from the Qi2.2 solutions that have dominated recently. While many new MagSafe and Qi2 chargers offer charging speeds of up to 25 watts and are priced towards the premium segment, UGREEN focuses on the essentials: solid wireless charging at an attractive entry-level price. The device supports MagSafe from iPhone 12 and charges compatible smartphones with up to 15 watts.
According to the manufacturer, an iPhone 17 Pro (€ 1,279.00 *) can be charged to around 37 percent in just 30 minutes. This puts the charging station in the typical MagSafe range and offers a speed that is perfectly adequate for fast intermediate charging in everyday life. The charging area is positioned at a fixed angle of 48 degrees, which makes it easier to use while charging – for example for video chats, reading messages or working with standby mode in iOS.
Next to the smartphone charging pad is another charging point specifically for AirPods or other compatible Qi earbuds. This allows two devices to be supplied with power in parallel without the need for additional cables. A 1-meter USB cable is included in the scope of delivery, but no separate power supply unit. For optimum charging performance, UGREEN recommends a charger with at least 27 watts – users can therefore use existing USB-C power adapters, for example from smartphones or laptops.
Focus on safety features and compatibility
UGREEN equips the station with several protective mechanisms to make charging safe and reliable. These include overtemperature protection, foreign object detection (FOD), short-circuit and overcurrent protection. These measures are designed to ensure that devices do not overheat and that potential charging faults are detected at an early stage.
With its compact form factor, the Zapix 2-in-1 is particularly suitable for desks, bedside tables or as a mobile solution when on the move. The charging station is also part of a new series – the so-called Zapix series – about which few details are yet known. According to reports, UGREEN is planning further products in this series, which could expand the portfolio in the future.
