With the vivo X300 FE, vivo is expanding its flagship smartphone series with a model that combines powerful camera performance, modern AI functions and a compact format. The X300 Ultra is now followed by another model. The focus is primarily on mobile photography at a high level, strong endurance and long-term software support. The new model is aimed at users who prefer premium technology without a large and heavy body and do not want to compromise on performance or features.

  • 50 MP ZEISS super telephoto camera with optional Telephoto Extender Gen 2 for up to 200 mm focal length
  • Compact 6.31-inch design with only 191 g weight and 7.99 mm body thickness
  • Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 6500 mAh battery as well as 90W FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging
  • Up to five years of OS upgrades, seven years of security patches and IP68/IP69 certification

vivo X300 FE focuses on professional smartphone photography

The heart of the vivo X300 FE is the camera system developed jointly with ZEISS. Equipped with a 50 MP ZEISS super telephoto camera, a 50 MP main camera and a 110° ultra-wide-angle camera, the smartphone covers a wide range of everyday situations – from street photography and concert shots to high-quality portraits.

Of particular interest is the new super telephoto camera, which can be extended with the second-generation vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender. This allows a focal length of up to 200 mm to be achieved, which provides significantly more flexibility, particularly at concerts, sporting events or travel photography. Despite the additional range, the accessory remains significantly lighter than its predecessor at just 153 grams.

vivo also relies on AI support on the software side. The AI True Clarity Engine improves details, textures and image sharpness even in difficult lighting conditions. The special Stage Mode was developed specifically for live events and ensures more natural faces, better colors and sharper telephoto portraits in stage lighting. This is complemented by functions such as Flash Portrait for low-light situations and Dual-View Stage Video, which can record the stage and your own reaction at the same time.

For creative users, the AI Creative Camera offers additional tools such as AI Portrait, AI Magic Move, AI Reflection Erase and AI Image Expander. Video fans will also get their money’s worth: 4K with 60 fps, 4K with 120 fps and 8K recordings with 30 fps are supported.

Compact premium design with strong performance and long battery life

With a 6.31-inch flat display, symmetrical display edges and a weight of just 191 grams, the vivo X300 FE consistently follows the trend towards more compact premium smartphones. The housing, which is just 7.99 mm thin, is designed to be particularly comfortable to use with one hand and also has a high-quality appearance.

The matt back made of AG glass reduces fingerprints and ensures a pleasantly non-slip feel. The Dynamic Camera Module has been harmoniously integrated into the housing, while an aerospace-grade aluminum frame provides additional stability. The colors Mist Purple and Luxe Black are available.

Inside is the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform, which is designed for gaming, multitasking and content creation. The chip is supported by a VC Liquid Cooling System with a large vapor chamber, which is designed to ensure stable temperatures even under load.

The battery features are particularly impressive: Despite the compact format, vivo installs a 6500 mAh BlueVolt battery. This supports 90W FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging. In combination with the intelligent power management, vivo promises a battery life of up to 24 hours.

The device should also impress in the long term: five years of operating system upgrades, seven years of security patches and a guaranteed five-year “Smooth Experience” under OriginOS 6 clearly speak for a longer service life. In addition, IP68 and IP69 certification ensure high resistance in everyday use.

Conclusion

The vivo X300 FE combines powerful camera hardware, modern AI functions and a compact premium design in a convincing way. The ZEISS super telephoto camera and large battery in particular make this model stand out in the flagship segment. Sales will start on April 29 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland via the official vivo webshop and also via Amazon in Germany. An official final price has not yet been announced, but a 50 euro voucher for the X series is available in advance.
