vivo Y33s and Y21s: mid-range smartphones launch in Germany

The new Y-series smartphones from vivo are also coming to Germany. The manufacturer has officially announced the new Modselle Y33s and Y21s. They rely on Android 11 with Funtouch OS and are equipped with a 5,000 mAh strong battery.

The specs of the vivo Y33s and Y21s

The two new models share many similarities. For example, the vivo Y33s and Y21s rely on a 5,000 mAh battery that is re-energized in no time thanks to 18 watts of vivo fast charging technology. Both smartphones offer a fingerprint sensor on the side, a dual-SIM slot and rely on a high-gloss casing that is only eight millimeters slim.

Vivo Y33s: Focus on the camera

The vivo Y33s is aimed particularly at users looking for excellent camera performance for their photos. With the 50-megapixel main camera as part of the triple camera setup on the back, every snapshot is successful. The super macro lens ensures sharp and detailed shots even at close range.

Here, vivo installs a MediaTek Helio G80 processor and 8 GB of working memory, which is supported by 128 GB of system memory. In addition, the vivo Y33s has a 1080p FullHD+ display, expandable storage via microSD card and contactless payment thanks to NFC. Another highlight is the Extended RAM 2.0 feature. This allows the device to borrow an additional 4 GB of RAM from the 128 GB of internal storage to enable smooth multitasking and fluid switching between multiple apps.

Vivo Y21s at a special low price

The Y21s also offers a powerful camera setup of three rear lenses with a 50-megapixel main camera. Likewise, it has smart camera features. These include night mode for the front and rear cameras, as well as a time-lapse and slow-motion feature with 120 frames per second.

The MediaTek Helio G80 chipset uses two powerful ARM Cortex-A75 CPUs that can run at up to 2 GHz. In addition, there is 128 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 1 TB via a microSD card. In addition, the Y21s also supports contactless payment via NFC and weighs just 182 grams with the slim design typical for vivo.

The vivo Y21s will be available in Germany immediately at an MSRP of 229 euros. The vivo Y33s will follow in November at an MSRP of 259 euros.
