Compact design in the style of the AURA 2
Visually, the MIRA series is modeled after the AURA 2. The housing is covered in gray acoustic fabric and, according to XGIMI, measures 464 × 268 millimeters at the base and is 122 millimeters tall. This makes the series one of the more compact ultra-short-throw projectors and suitable for screen sizes ranging from 80 to 120 inches. 4K RGB Triple Laser – What the Chip Really Delivers
Both models deliver a 4K image with 3,840 × 2,160 pixels and cover 110 percent of the BT.2020 color space. According to XGIMI, the contrast ratio is 20,000:1, though only in dynamic DBLE mode. One detail that often gets overlooked in the announcement: The image is generated by a 0.39-inch DMD chip using pixel-shift technology. XGIMI itself refers to “Standard Resolution” in the spec sheets, not native 4K resolution. In practice, this means you get a sharp 4K image, but technically, the chip uses pixel shifting rather than physically 8.3 million mirrors. Anyone expecting true native 4K should keep this in mind.
The press release is vague about HDR, but the official spec sheet is clearer: Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG are supported. Dolby Vision, in particular, is not a given in this price range and is a real selling point compared to cheaper UST models.

For audio, XGIMI relies on a 36-watt system from Harman Kardon: two 8-watt full-range speakers plus a 20-watt subwoofer, tuned to the Harman Target Curve. Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X are included.
