Xiaomi introduces scooter, smartphones, tablet and projector

At its launch event in Berlin, Xiaomi presented a lot of new products that fans of the Chinese company can expect in the future. The AMG Scooter, for example, is a special edition of the Electric Scooter Pro 2, but new smartphones, a projector, tablet and the company’s own mesh system were also presented. We take a look at the new launches.

AMG Scooter

For true fans of Formula 1, Xiaomi is launching a special edition of its popular Electric Scooter Pro 2. Here, they want to live up to the name by adapting the design of the fast electric scooter to the current racing cars of the F1 team. This is particularly evident in the choice of colors. The company not only uses the racing team’s eye-catching turquoise, but also gives the e-scooter the unmistakable AMG lettering. Thanks to a maximum range of 45 kilometers, it should be possible to reach just about any destination in the city. According to Xiaomi, the AMG scooter is a pioneer in the field of e-scooters.

However, as in Formula 1, safety is to play a major role in the electrifying scooter. In addition to a dual braking system, Xiaomi also emphasizes the special tires that are filled with air and are said to have reliable shock absorbers. The integrated display ensures that the rider always keeps an eye on the most important info. Xiaomi wants to combine performance with portability here. Thus, according to the manufacturer, the AMG scooter can be folded and stowed away without complications. You can secure the AMG version of the Electric Scooter Pro 2 from September 24 at an MSRP of 799 euros.

Redmi 10, 11 Lite 5G NE, 11T and 11T Pro

Of course, Xiaomi also wants to live up to its reputation as a smartphone manufacturer with great value for money. Accordingly, four new smartphones were announced at once. The Redmi 10, which is Xiaomi’s entry-level smartphone, is the first one. Compared with the predecessor, a lot is said to have changed. Besides a 50 MP main camera, there is a 6.5-inch FHD+ display.

Xiaomi Redmi 10

This offers a pleasing refresh rate of 90 Hz. The 2.0 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor is supposed to provide the necessary performance. The combination of 5,000 mAh battery power and a fast charging function with 18 watts ensures that you can probably outlast every day with the Redmi 10. The Redmi 10 is scheduled to launch on October 1 at an MSRP of 179.90 euros (4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage space) or 199.90 euros (4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage space).

Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE

In the mid-range, the 11 Lite 5G NE is supposed to teach the competition a lesson. Here, Xiaomi wants to score with a chic modern design. A 64 MP main camera is supposed to provide nice snapshots. High-contrast and colorful screen contents are supposed to be conjured up thanks to the AMOLED display. Motion pictures are smooth thanks to a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Lightning-fast performance should not be a problem thanks to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G. Fast Charging is also on board. A whopping 33 watts should ensure that the 4,250 mAh battery is quickly recharged.

Xiaomi 11T

With the 11T and the 11T Pro, we are in the upper class. Xiaomi’s upcoming flagships accordingly have a lot going for them. The 11T offers a nice-looking AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Thanks to the main camera with a whopping 108 MP, it should be possible to take professional-quality photos. The Turbo Charger with a power of 67 watts ensures that the 5,000 mAh battery is charged from 0 to 100 within 36 minutes according to Xiaomi. A decent performance is ensured thanks to the 6 nm processor in the form of the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra.

Xiaomi 11T Pro

The Pro model of the Xiaomi 11T seems to set a new milestone in terms of battery performance. After all, the flagship offers HyperCharge with a whopping 120 watts. With the help of this power, the 5,000 mAh battery is supposed to fully charge within 17 minutes. The other specs are the same as those of the 11T. We can only expect a bit more in terms of processor performance. The powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 makes it possible.

Xiaomi Pad 5

Xiaomi launches the latest generation of its tablet series with the Pad 5. Xiaomi can’t deny the design borrowings from the iPad this time either. The 11-inch display has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. A refresh rate of 120 Hz offers smooth motion pictures. Thanks to four integrated speakers and Dolby Atmos certification, you should also be able to enjoy Netflix & Co.

The Snapdragon 860 is supposed to provide a lot of power. The tablet is optionally available with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB flash storage or alternatively with 6 GB RAM and 256 GB flash storage. A large 8,720 mAh battery is supposed to ensure that the tablet has enough stamina. There’s also a fast-charging option with 22.5 watts here.

Mesh system and Smart Projector 2

As if all that wasn’t enough, Xiaomi has also announced a brand new mesh system on top of that, as well as the second generation of its compact Smart Projector. The handy projector is said to be able to create an image diagonal of a whopping 120 inches despite its limited dimensions.

Thanks to Android TV, the most important features of a modern smart TV are provided on board. With the AX3000, Xiaomi enters the mesh system segment. The Wifi 6-compatible network is supposed to be able to establish a reliable connection with up to 254 devices.
