In combination with the 35 mm f/1.4 lens, photographers can focus on subjects from a distance of just 30 centimeters, which opens up a wide range of applications.
The lens is magnetically attached to the smartphone via a special magnetic ring on the back of the housing. Xiaomi uses the newly developed “LaserLink” technology for data transmission, which enables speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s. This allows the raw data from the sensor to be transferred to the smartphone in real time for further processing. The lens is powered via metallic contacts, so that no separate charging is necessary.
