Xiaomi is expanding its smartphone portfolio in Germany with two new models: the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro and the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus. Both devices offer solid technical specifications and are aimed at users who value powerful hardware at an attractive price.

With the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G (review, € 249.99 *), we were already able to test a model from Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series in the past. This impressed us with a respectable price-performance ratio. And this should also be the case with the latest series. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro Plus use two different processors.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025, a powerful chip that ensures smooth performance in everyday applications. The Pro Plus, on the other hand, relies on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, which is particularly optimized for demanding tasks and games. Both processors support 5G connectivity and therefore offer future-proof mobile communication standards.
Display
A highlight of both models is the brilliant display with a really good peak brightness of up to 3,000 cd/m². This should ensure very good visibility even in direct sunlight. The refresh rate of 120 Hz in turn ensures a smooth display of content. This is particularly advantageous when scrolling and gaming.
Memory and battery life
The Redmi Note 14 Pro has 256 GB of internal memory, which should provide enough space for apps, photos and videos. The Pro Plus is equipped with at least 12 GB of RAM, which makes multitasking and demanding applications possible without any problems. The battery of the Pro Plus has a capacity of 6,200 mAh and can be fully charged with up to 90 watts in just 30 minutes.
Further functions
Both smartphones support dual SIM functionality and are IP68-certified. This effectively protects them against dust and water. The Pro Plus version also has a telephoto lens that enables versatile photography.
