The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max is now available for order from select German online retailers. The vacuum-and-mop robot combines 35,000 Pa of suction power with a rotating, self-cleaning mop roller and, according to Xiaomi, is designed to reliably tackle even stubborn stains and pet hair. Anyone who’s been waiting for a successor to older Xiaomi models will find a technically ambitious all-in-one package here. However, the price varies significantly depending on the retailer.

TL;DR: The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max vacuums with up to 35,000 Pa of suction power, mops with a rotating roller featuring corner extensions, and, thanks to two climbing legs, can handle thresholds up to 6 cm high. The charging station cleans the roller with water heated to 85 °C and then dries it. In Germany, the robot is currently listed at Galaxus (€1,299) and Alza (€1,179); an official price from Xiaomi itself has not yet been announced.

Technical Specifications

At the heart of the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max is the combination of powerful suction and a sophisticated mopping system. Xiaomi has specified the key technical details as follows:

Feature Specification
Suction Power up to 35,000 Pa
Navigation 360° LiDAR (retractable) + triple-camera system, detects over 300 types of objects and debris
Mopping System Rotating mopping roller with 16 water outlets, extendable mopping arm for corners
Battery 6,400 mAh, charging time approx. 4.5 hours
Obstacle navigation Two motorized climbing legs, thresholds up to 6 cm
Charging station Self-cleaning with 85 °C hot water, warm-air drying at 50 °C, automatic dust bag emptying (up to 75 days)
Smart Home Xiaomi Home app, Google Assistant & Alexa, HyperOS Connect

AI Navigation: LiDAR Meets Triple Camera

To navigate the room, Xiaomi relies on a retractable LiDAR module—which tucks away under low furniture when needed—combined with a triple-camera system. According to the manufacturer, the robot can use this to recognize more than 300 different types of objects and types of dirt—from cables and small items like headphones to wet spots—and automatically adjusts its cleaning strategy. If a baseboard or door threshold is in the way, two motorized climbing legs help the robot overcome obstacles up to 6 cm high, according to the spec sheet.

Mopping System and Docking Station

Instead of a traditional mop cloth, the 6 Max uses a rotating roller that is continuously supplied with fresh water from 16 openings while it moves. A mechanical mopping arm extends to clean corners and edges. After cleaning, the robot returns to the docking station, which cleans the roller with water heated to up to 85 °C and then dries it with warm air at 50 °C. This is designed to prevent unpleasant odors caused by damp mopping cloths. According to the manufacturer, the dust bag in the station only needs to be replaced after up to 75 days.

Price and Availability in Germany

Xiaomi has not yet announced an official launch date or list price for Germany. So far, the robot has only appeared globally on the Xiaomi website. Nevertheless, the 6 Max is already available for order from select retailers: Galaxus lists it for 1,299 euros with delivery between September 23 and 29, 2026, while Alza lists it at 1,179 euros. In China, the device costs the equivalent of only about 623 euros, which suggests that the European launch price could drop over time once more retailers start carrying the model.

Anyone who’s still undecided about buying a robot vacuum should wait the first few weeks after the market launch. Experience shows that prices for new Xiaomi models drop quite quickly once regular retailers start carrying them.

How Does the 6 Max Stack Up?

With 35,000 Pa of suction power, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max ranks among the current top performers in the vacuum-and-moprobots, putting it on par with models like the Lefant M210 Pro Omni, which also features a real-time mopping roller. The same pattern is evident with other Xiaomi home appliances, such as the Xiaomi Mijia washing machine, which was recently launched in Germany: first comes a global listing, followed a few weeks later by its availability through regular retailers in Germany, along with localization of the app and support.

Conclusion

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max shows that Xiaomi is now a technical leader in the field of vacuum-and-mop robots: 35,000 Pa of suction power, a self-cleaning mopping roller, and AI navigation that recognizes significantly more objects than earlier models speak for themselves. If you don’t want to wait for the official Xiaomi launch, you can already pick one up at Galaxus or Alza—but keep in mind that the price will likely drop further as availability in Germany increases.
