XPG introduces high-performance SSD with heat sink – GAMMIX S70 BLADE

XPG presents the XPG GAMMIX S70 BLADE PCIe Gen4x4 M.2 2280 solid state drive (SSD). The SSD brings fast read and write speeds, allowing it to meet the high demands of graphics processing and gaming.

Compact and Powerful

The GAMMIX S70 Blade comes with a read speed of 7,400 MB/s and a write speed of 6,400 MB/s thanks to the PCIe Gen4 interface. This makes it up to twice faster than PCIe 3.0, while also being backward compatible. It is also equipped with 3D NAND flash for higher capacities of up to 2 TB and improved efficiency as well as durability, and is compliant with NVMe 1.4. The aluminum body of the S70 Blade is made of temperature-resistant aluminum, robust and slim, effectively dissipating heat. The SSD is also impressive in terms of design and impresses with its clean lines. Dynamic SLC Caching and DRAM Cache Buffer provide a performance boost for the GAMMIX S70 BLADE. The compact M.2 2280 form factor makes the SSD ideal for most popular laptops as well as Intel Evo certified laptops and also gaming consoles.

To detect and fix a majority of data errors and to ensure clean data transfer, the GAMMIX S70 BLADE supports LDPC (Low Density Parity Check Code) error correction code technology. Furthermore, XPG’s new SSD ensures data security and data integrity on the SSD with end-to-end data protection (E2E), RAID engine support, and AES 256-bit encryption. With the S70 BLADE’s error correction and protection technologies, it offers a high TBW (Total Bytes Written) rating of up to 1,480 TB.

The XPG GAMMIX S70 BLADE is offered by XPG with a five-year warranty, at an as-yet unknown price. In terms of capacity, the choice remains between 1 and 2 TB.
