XPG launches Spectrix S20G SSD in stores

XPG did not really present the Spectrix S20G SSD. Nevertheless, the Adata subsidiary has listed the new gaming SSD on its website. The details there already read pleasingly positive. The M.2 SSD is supposed to use a PCIe Gen3 x4 interface. Not least thanks to the modern interface, reading and writing speeds of up to 160,000 and 190,000 IOPS should be possible.

Typical Gaming Look

SSDs are no longer just pure storage media. The trend of fancy RGB lighting does not pass them by either. This is also the case with the Spectrix S20G. The gaming SSD relies on a special x-shaped design that immediately catches the eye with its RGB lighting. According to XPG, the user should be able to adjust the RGB lighting. Customized software is used for this. Apart from the illumination, the Spectrix S20G can also be called a nice piece of technology. This is not least due to the brushed aluminum that XPG gives the SSD.

Price and availability

But of course, an SSD should not only look good, but first and foremost be fast. Thanks to PCIe Gen3 x4, the 1 TB model is said to be capable of 1,800 MB/s (write) and 2,500 MB/s (read). This sounds like a very good SSD for gamers. Those who are interested in the XPG Spectrix S20G can strike now.
