Xtrfy M8 Wireless: New symmetrical gaming mouse with 26,000 DPI

With the Xtrfy M8 Wireless, the manufacturer has introduced its latest wireless gaming mouse, which follows in the footsteps of the Logitech G Pro X Superlight. The rodent with a 26,000 DPI sensor weighs just 55 grams.

The Xtrfy M8 Wireless in detail

With its sleek design and symmetrical styling, the 55-gram Xtrfy M8 Wireless aims to appeal to Esports-savvy left- and right-handed gamers alike. The nager will appear in a total of five more or less unique colorways.

In addition to classic black and white, each with green accents, the mouse will also appear in a gray-red retro look, in “Frosty Mint” and in blue-purple. However, the new M8 does without the holes of previous gaming mice from the manufacturer such as the M4 RGB (our review) or MZ1 and M42 Wireless – at a lower weight.

Most exciting is the sensor of the Xtrfy M8 Wireless, which we already know – as well as the switches – from the Endgame Gear XM2w. Thus, the mice use the Pixart 3395 sensor with a resolution of 26,000 CPI with a speed of 650 IPS and 50 G acceleration.

The resolution can be adjusted between 400 CPI and 26,000 CPI, and the maximum polling rate is 1,000 Hz. Adjustable is also the debounce rate and it is between 2, 4, 8 and 12 milliseconds.

High-quality Kailh switches

The two primary buttons on the Xtrfy M8 Wireless rely on high-quality, durable Kailh GM 8.0 switches with a tactile click feel. They are joined by two side buttons on the left and a clickable scroll wheel.

Generous PTFE feet ensure good gliding properties, while the mouse is said to feel great in the hand thanks to its matte textured finish. Wirelessly, it finds connection in the 2.4 GHz wireless network, with the corresponding USB dongle wanting to be connected to a PC or notebook.

A 1.8 meter Xtrfy EZcord Pro USB-A to USB-C cable is also used to connect and charge the mouse. The battery holds 300 mA and is said to provide up to 75 percent usage time on a single charge.

Prices and Availability

The Xtrfy M8 Wireless is expected to make its way to retailers by the end of November 2022. The recommended retail price is 99.00 euros. Pre-orders are available now on the manufacturer’s website.
