Best cordless vacuum cleaner 2024: Medium price category
Don’t want to spend a fortune on a cordless vacuum cleaner? No problem! The market offers a range of fairly inexpensive models that offer good performance despite their moderate price. We were able to put some of them through their paces in our test series.
Ultenic U10 (Review)
The Ultenic U10 is a rock-solid vacuum cleaner for domestic use. The price-performance ratio is right across the board. The workmanship of the cordless vacuum cleaner is impressive and the suction power is also impressive – at least on suction level 2.
Otherwise, the Ultenic U10 is convincing on virtually any surface. One small negative point is the battery. It only lasts around 15 minutes on level 2, but that’s enough for the coarsest dirt. In our opinion, the numerous attachments supplied are the icing on the cake.
AENO SC1 (Review)
The AENO SC1, the smallest version in the manufacturer’s portfolio, has a number of advantages, including good workmanship, simple installation, practical accessories and easy operation via two switches. The easy cleaning of the container and filter as well as the low weight and maneuverability are also positive features. However, there is no telescopic adjustment of the suction tube and the material quality is only average.
The maximum suction power of 120W is rather weak, especially for larger soiling. The brush head with spiral brush can only provide limited relief here. The AENO SC1 is not suitable for daily cleaning of the entire household due to its low suction power and lack of adjustment options. However, it is a useful option for smaller cleaning tasks or vacuuming carpets.
Dreame P10 Pro (Review)
Overall, Dreame’s P10 Pro offers a good overall package at an attractive price. The cordless vacuum cleaner impresses with its modern and appealing design, good suction power, easy cleaning and a solid scope of delivery. The various attachments were convincing in the test, only an additional roller for carpets would be desirable.
There are no special features such as bendable tubes and the like, Dreame concentrates on the essentials. The battery life proved to be sufficient in the test, but there is room for improvement. The Dreame P10 Pro is therefore suitable for anyone who is not particularly demanding in terms of functionality and is simply looking for a reliable, easy-to-clean cordless vacuum cleaner with good suction power at an affordable price.
Ultenic U12 Vesla (Review)
The Ultenic U12 Vesla is an impressive cordless vacuum cleaner with strong suction power that effortlessly tackles dust, hair and dirt particles and is well suited for households with pets. The innovative Green Eye technology and the clear display should be emphasized. However, there is room for improvement in terms of material quality.
The plastic is susceptible to wear and tear and the buttons feel a little spongy. The battery life is satisfactory in Eco mode, but is drastically reduced at higher power levels, which can make it necessary to stop for a recharge. Overall, however, the U12 Vesla offers great value for money.
Trouver Power 12 (Review)
With the Trouver Power 12, you get a decent cordless vacuum cleaner that also impresses with a great price-performance ratio. The household appliance from the Far East offers hardly any reasons to complain. Instead, there is a lot to praise here. It starts with the good workmanship. But the display technology is also impressive and is a unique selling point in this price range.
Of course, everything depends on the suction power. And this is also impressive. The piece of technology delivers a very good performance, especially on hard floors. However, owners of one or more carpets should plan more time for cleaning. Alternatively, you should seriously consider using a competitor’s product with a carpet brush.
Ultenic FS1 (Review)
The Ultenic FS1 is a good cordless vacuum cleaner that scores particularly well in terms of value for money. It scores with a stylish design, a practical suction station and solid suction power at a fair price, which is significantly lower than comparable appliances. The smart household helper certainly gives cause for complaint here and there.
On the one hand, there are questionable design decisions such as the misplaced display or the automatically opening flap of the dust container. However, as these are not cost-cutting measures, but simply obvious flaws in the concept, I hope to see improvements in the next generation. This could then be a real challenge to the expensive competition from Dyson and co.
Redroad V17 (Review)
The Redroad V17 is about half the price of comparable high-priced competitors from Dyson. But is it only half as good? Not at all. In addition to a stylish appearance and high-quality workmanship, it offers a high level of operating comfort. It scores points with its excellent maneuverability, making it easy to maneuver even through homes with obstacles.
The attachments are also useful and are very easy to plug in and out. I find the double roller design less useful, but that is probably a matter of taste. The good battery life and the interchangeable design round off the package and make the Redroad V17 a really good cordless vacuum cleaner.
Tineco Pure One A30S (Review)
The Tineco Pure One A30S is a well-equipped mid-range cordless vacuum cleaner with an excellent price-performance ratio. It offers a powerful 20,000 Pascal suction power, which delivers good results on hard floors and carpets in particular, even if more expensive models have a slight advantage on deep-pile carpets. Thanks to the iLoop sensor, it automatically adjusts the suction power, which makes it pleasant to use in auto mode. The replaceable battery and easy maintenance of the appliance are particularly positive features that contribute to a longer service life.
The various attachments and the LED lighting on the main brush also offer practical application options. The anti-tangle technology makes it particularly attractive for pet owners. Disadvantages are the comparatively clunky design of the handpiece, especially when used as a handheld vacuum cleaner, and the lack of dust lighting. Nevertheless, the Pure One A30S impresses overall with its ergonomics, ease of use, good workmanship and, above all, its outstanding price. For the price, it offers many useful functions that are often only found in higher-priced models.

Best cordless vacuum cleaner 2024: The flagships
If you don’t want to compromise and want to use the latest technology in your household, you should buy a device from the sometimes high-priced luxury class. We were also able to test some models from this category.
Tineco Pure One Air Pro (Review)
The Tineco Pure One Air Pro impresses as a super light and maneuverable cordless vacuum cleaner that offers sufficient suction power for most users. It is reminiscent of a simplified version of the S15 Pro and concentrates on the essentials. However, there are a few minor flaws, such as the awkward opening flap for emptying the dust container and the lack of an exact battery indicator in numbers.
The app connection with Bluetooth and WiFi integration seems somewhat superfluous and could have been omitted in favor of a better display and a simpler dust flap. Despite these minor weaknesses, the Pure One Air Pro is a practical and compact cordless vacuum cleaner that can cope with almost any mess.
Dreame Z10 Station (Review)
Dreame has created a really good piece of household technology with the Z10 Station. The smart household helper impresses with its stylish appearance and excellent build quality. The cleaning performance on hard floors is particularly impressive, while the performance on long-pile carpets is average. The modern and unobtrusive vacuum station blends well into the living room.
One highlight is the price: for comparatively little money, you not only get a suction station, but also extensive accessories and a high quality of workmanship. The Dreame Z10 Station therefore offers excellent value for money and outperforms many comparable models, which are often significantly more expensive.
Tineco Pure One S11 Tango Ex (Review)
The Tineco Pure One S11 Tango EX proves to be an outstanding cordless vacuum cleaner in the test. The modern design, high-quality workmanship and practical features such as the LED lighting are particularly noteworthy. The cleaning performance is impressive on all floor types and also as a handheld vacuum cleaner. Thanks to the iLoop Smart Sensor technology, the appliance automatically adjusts the suction power to conserve the battery.
The extensive scope of delivery includes numerous attachments, a charging station, a second battery and other accessories. One point of criticism is the display, which only shows the dust control ring and a WiFi symbol, but not the battery status. This information can only be called up via the app. Despite this minor flaw, the positive impressions of the Pure One S11 Tango EX clearly outweigh the negative ones.
Dreame R20 (Review)
With the Dreame R20, the former Xiaomi subsidiary has launched a serious competitor to the Dyson V12 on the market. The manufacturer’s new flagship not only offers modern features such as Laser Detect technology. It also offers intelligent dirt detection, great suction power on all floor types and a very long battery life.
On paper, the R20 is even better than the significantly more expensive Dyson V12. In addition to a larger dust container, it also scores with a low weight and more power. Dreame has once again proven that you don’t have to go for Dyson if you want an uncompromising cordless vacuum cleaner.
Tineco Pure One S15 Pro (Review)
I have to admit that I became a real fan of the Tineco Pure One S15 Pro during the test. The reason for this is not just the great cleaning performance that the cordless vacuum cleaner delivers. It also scores points with me for its stylish design and high build quality. The 2-in-1 design also offers a high degree of flexibility and allows you to clean not only floors, but also high ceilings, seating and car upholstery.
The replaceable battery also ensures greater sustainability and longevity, so you should be able to enjoy your cordless vacuum cleaner for many years to come. My only real gripe is the large edge that the floor nozzle leaves to the side. This makes it difficult to clean skirting boards and leaves an uncleaned edge. All in all, however, the Tineco Pure One S15 Pro is an almost perfect cordless vacuum cleaner that the competition should be afraid of.
Dreame V12 Pro (Review)
The Dreame V12 Pro impresses with its combination of proven features and innovative additions. With a sleek carbon fiber look and a futuristic display, it offers not only aesthetic but also functional improvements. The powerful suction power of 32,000 Pa, which enables almost perfect cleaning, is particularly noteworthy.
Although the battery life is slightly shorter compared to its predecessor, this is hardly an issue given the high performance. A minor drawback is the lack of the wipe function, which is available in the Chinese version. Nevertheless, the V12 Pro impresses with an excellent price-performance ratio and makes it clear that Dreame is a serious competitor for established brands such as Dyson.
Tineco Pure One Station (Review)
The Tineco Pure One Station is an impressive premium-class cordless vacuum cleaner with many strengths. Particularly noteworthy is the innovative OmniHub, which takes user comfort and maintenance to a new level. This suction station could serve as a model for other manufacturers. The cordless vacuum cleaner itself impresses with its excellent maneuverability, which is made possible by movable joints and a low weight.
However, the appliance also has weaknesses: The cleaning of corners and edges as well as the suction of coarse-grained dirt could be improved. In addition, the high price of the vacuum station is an important aspect that potential buyers should consider. Despite these shortcomings, the Tineco Pure One Station offers an exciting combination of performance and convenience that should appeal to many households.
Dreame Z30 (Review)
The Dreame Z30 is a powerful premium cordless vacuum cleaner with a high-quality finish and extensive accessories. For just under 600 euros, it offers good value for money. The suction power on hard floors and carpets is strong, even if the brush occasionally stops on long-pile carpets. The low weight of 2.2 kg and the intuitive display ensure ease of use.
The LED lighting on the brushes, which makes cleaning easier, is particularly practical, as is the special attachment for pet hair, which is particularly interesting for pet owners. The battery lasts for around 60 minutes in eco mode and the modern filter system is also suitable for allergy sufferers. The device shows weaknesses in the slightly too small base station without suction function. Overall, the Dreame Z30 is a versatile and user-friendly vacuum cleaner that deserves a purchase recommendation despite its minor flaws.
Rowenta X-Force Flex 13.60 (Review)
The Rowenta X-Force Flex 13.60 impresses in the test with a combination of powerful suction power, high flexibility and well thought-out features. The flex joint of the suction pipe in particular proves to be a practical feature that makes cleaning under flat furniture effortless. However, I also liked the mopping attachment, which is particularly helpful for allergy sufferers for whom comprehensive cleaning is important. With an output of 150 AirWatt, the vacuum cleaner works really well on hard floors. However, it is a disaster on carpets.
The design and finish of the appliance are really good, and the dust container is easy to empty, which benefits allergy sufferers. The extensive filter system, which filters 99.9% of allergens and dust particles from the air, also underlines the health aspect of the vacuum cleaner. The battery life of up to 60 minutes in eco mode is impressive, with a full charge taking around three hours. Overall, the Rowenta X-Force Flex 13.60 is a strong choice for carpet-free allergy sufferers who also want to clean areas under flat furniture extensively.
Tineco Pure One A50S (Plus) (Review)
The Tineco Pure One A50S impresses as a versatile and intelligent cordless vacuum cleaner with modern features and good cleaning performance. The 3DSense Power Brush, which uses smart functions such as DustSense and EdgeSense to optimally adjust the suction power and efficiently clean edges, is particularly impressive. The LED lighting makes it possible to detect and remove even the smallest dust particles, which makes cleaning even more thorough. The flexible suction tube and ergonomic handle ensure a high level of operating comfort, especially in hard-to-reach areas.
The suction power of 185 watts is sufficient for everyday use, even if it can’t quite keep up with more powerful models. Pet owners benefit from the ZeroTangle technology, which effectively sucks up pet hair without it getting tangled up in the brush. With a battery life of up to 70 minutes and a replaceable battery, the A50S offers high flexibility and durability. Maintenance is also easy thanks to the large dust container and the washable filter system, which guarantees allergy-friendliness. For an RRP of 299 euros, the Tineco Pure One A50S offers great value for money, even if it does not come close to top models in terms of suction power.
