Electronic parking disks are no longer a novelty in themselves. However, at 9.7 mm, the new OOONO P-DISC NO3 is much thinner than any other electronic model on the market. This not only makes it particularly convenient to use, but also takes up less space in the car.
It has a circular design and can be conveniently placed on the inside of the car windshield thanks to magnets, where it is powered by sunlight and is ready for immediate use. This is because it does not need to be set up. If required, it can be easily removed again in a single movement.
OOONO also provides the parking disk with integrated batteries, which means it continues to work at night and in parking garages. Even when the sun is not shining. In daylight, the parking disk uses solar energy. This protects the batteries and extends the service life. According to the manufacturer, the batteries have a service life of 5 years.
The manufacturer informs you about this approximately one month before the batteries run out: The P-DISC NO3 starts to flash red at the beginning and end of the parking time and plays a warning tone, while a battery symbol appears on the display. The battery is easily replaced using standard CR3032 button cell batteries.

The OOONO P-DISC NO3 is quickly and easily installed on the windshield using magnets. You don’t need an app or an internet connection to set up or use the digital parking disk. There is also no need to call up your location.
Once installed, the parking disk is automatically ready for use. The time and date are already set correctly ex works and the change between summer and winter time is fully automatic.
It impresses with a large, high-contrast display that is perfectly legible at all times. Whether in direct sunlight or in parking garages. Thanks to the E standard, the P-DISC NO3 is 100% legal to use and can be used officially in Germany.
The automatic use of the smart parking disc is particularly practical, as it automatically sets the parking time on arrival: it automatically detects whether the vehicle is moving or parked. Shortly after stopping, it switches to parking mode; if you continue driving, parking mode is canceled.
In parking mode, the parking disk automatically jumps to the next half hour, which is a mandatory permitted parking interval in Germany. This means that if you park your car at 17:43, you will be pleased to see an arrival time of 18:00 on the parking disk. Shortly after driving off, the OOONO P-DISC NO3 automatically exits parking mode again.
The whole thing is of course extremely practical. On the one hand, you can no longer forget to put the parking disk in the car, and on the other hand, you no longer have to search for the old cardboard parking disk in the glove compartment or storage areas. With the P-DISC NO3, you always know that the arrival time is set when you park.
OOONO P-DISC NO3 Review: Conclusion
Admittedly: With a price of around 40 euros, the OOONO P-DISC NO3 is of course no bargain. After all, you can get normal parking disks everywhere. Nevertheless, the solar-powered parking disk absolutely convinced me in the test.
The design is pleasantly compact and the display is easy to read. The simple setup is particularly practical. Open the packaging, attach the parking disk and you’re ready to go. No installation, no downloads, nothing. It really couldn’t be simpler.
The parking disk automatically detects when the car is parked and sets the arrival time, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. Anyone who likes to forget to put the parking disk in the car will really appreciate this. After all, you’ll quickly recoup the purchase price of the OOONO P-DISC NO3 by avoiding parking tickets.
