Sihoo Doro C300 Review: The assembly takes a little time
- Good instructions
- Tools included
- Somewhat difficult to set up alone
The Sihoo Doro C300 arrives at your home securely packaged and disassembled into its individual parts. In addition to all the components, the manufacturer also includes the necessary tools and easy-to-understand instructions in German.
As the Doro C300 is quite solidly built compared to many other ergonomic office chairs, it takes a little longer to assemble than its cheaper competitors. Especially if you want to cobble the chair together on your own, you should allow around one and a half hours and some effort.
While some steps, such as attaching the seat to the backrest, are much easier if you get a second person to help, I was able to assemble the chair all by myself. Once the nine steps have been completed, the Sihoo Doro C300 is an absolutely elegant and high-quality ergonomic office chair.

Elegant design, high-quality workmanship
- Elegant, modern design
- excellent workmanship
- great mesh fabric
I have assembled and occasionally used several ergonomic office chairs in the past, as well as some of the best gaming chairs. But in terms of design and build quality, the Sihoo Doro C300 is right up there with the best.
The office chair impresses with an absolutely elegant design and is available in either black or white. With a weight of around 25 kg, the office chair has a solid, high-quality construction.
Nevertheless, the seat, which is around 46 cm deep and 51.5 cm wide, and the backrest, which is a maximum of 54.2 cm wide, are made from an incredibly comfortable, soft mesh fabric that adapts perfectly to your body and ensures impressive sitting comfort.
The mesh fabric is soft enough to ensure comfort and yet firm enough to stabilize your body perfectly. Another advantage: the breathable fabric promotes air circulation and thus prevents sweating – and the whole thing also looks absolutely elegant.
The white model also features silver color accents, which skilfully underlines the elegant, office-ready look. The look is completed by an equally comfortable 3D headrest, the angle of which can also be adjusted forwards and upwards.
The Sihoo Doro C300 sits enthroned on a steel base that merges into a total of five castors. These glide excellently over the floor, but attract dust and dirt quite quickly. The manufacturer relies on very robust plastic for the base of the housing, which is repeatedly supported by metal elements. This allows the Doro C300 to support a weight of up to 136 kg.
Sihoo Doro C300 in practical test: Features and comfort
- comfortable mesh fabric
- great lumbar support
- extensively adaptable to the body
In terms of seating comfort, the Sihoo Doro C300 leaves nothing to be desired. This starts with the very comfortable, pleasantly soft yet stable mesh fabric, which – in combination with the comparatively long seat – provides excellent relief for the thighs and hips by reducing pressure. The design of the seat surface, which is curved upwards at the sides, also reduces unpleasant pressure points.
Special praise is also due to the lumbar support, which dynamically adapts to your body and moves with you, for example when you move backwards into one of the three lockable positions (110 degrees, 120 degrees or 130 degrees). The lumbar support provides excellent relief for the spine and at the same time ensures that you sit up straighter, which can also reduce and prevent back problems.
The height of the lumbar support is linked to the height of the backrest, which can be adjusted in five stages between 50.3 cm and 56.5 cm by simply pushing it up. To do this, simply reach backwards on both sides of the backrest while sitting on the chair and push it up. This is noticeably and acoustically indicated by a pleasant grid. There are a total of four levels to choose from, while the fifth level moves the backrest back down again.
The height of the Sihoo Doro C300 can also be adjusted between 64.3 cm and 92.5 cm using the lever on the right below the seat. If you then pull the lever outwards, you can also activate the rocking function and lean back comfortably. Of course, it is also possible to lock the angle at the three angles mentioned above. What is unfortunately not possible, however, is a completely vertical backrest position.
Especially in combination with the fairly firm lumbar support, this is very pleasant for simply relaxing. As already mentioned, the wide and very comfortable headrest is also adjustable. But what about the armrests? Sihoo has given the Doro C300 4D armrests that can be adjusted up and down as well as forwards and backwards and inwards and outwards by up to 75 degrees.
The armrests are also synchronized with the backrest, which ensures that they remain in the ideal, most comfortable position even when leaning back. The only criticism of the armrests is that they are a little too easy to move – especially horizontally – which could lead to accidental adjustments.
Sihoo Doro C300 Review: Conclusion
The Sihoo Doro C300 is an outstanding, ergonomic office chair that can hardly be criticized. It impresses with its futuristic and elegant design, as well as its excellent processing quality, which is absolutely worth the price.
However, the Doro C300 really comes into its own when it comes to seating comfort and impresses across the board. From the pleasantly hard mesh fabric, which adapts perfectly to your body shape, to the excellent lumbar support, the generous headrest and the 4D armrests: Nothing is left to be desired here.
In the endurance test, the ergonomic office chair completely convinced me and actually made sure that my lower back pain was noticeably better. You have to look for points of criticism with a magnifying glass, but they do exist.
On the one hand, assembly is much more difficult than with many of its competitors, especially if you do it alone, and takes around an hour and a half. On the other hand, I would have liked to have been able to put the chair in both a straight and a reclined position – unfortunately, neither is possible, although the maximum tilt angle of 110 degrees is very close. Nevertheless, I find the position very comfortable.
If you are looking for an absolutely high-quality, robust and incredibly comfortable office chair, you can buy the Sihoo Doro C300 without hesitation. Your back will thank you for it.
