Having already tested a wired charger from UGREEN’s current Nexode Pro series (our review), we now take a look at a wireless charger from the manufacturer. The new UGREEN MagFlow series supports the Qi 2.2 standard with up to 25 W wireless output power. The series currently comprises a total of three models, two 3-in-1 chargers with an included USB power adapter and a 2-in-1 charger without a USB power adapter. In our test, we take a closer look at the UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 charger, which offers 2x wireless charging and 1x USB-C.

Scope of delivery

  • contains the charger and a USB-C to USB-C cable
  • does not include a USB power adapter

The UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 charger comes in a compact light gray box with black accents. On the front are two pictures of the gray-blue charger and information on features such as support for the Qi 2.2 standard. On the back is information on the input and output power.

The box contains the charger, a USB-C to USB-C cable and a user manual. A USB power adapter is not included.

Design and workmanship

  • Modern and rather simple design
  • two-part charger with a magnetic charging pad for smartphones and
  • a charging pad for in-ear headphones

The UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 charger is grey-blue and not available in other colors. The charger has a compact size with a footprint of 59 x 59 mm and a height of 42 mm. The weight of the charger is 224 g.

The design is modern and rather simple. The charger consists of two cuboids, one on top of the other, which are connected by a hinge. On the top of the upper block is a light gray, rubberized and magnetic charging pad. A status display is located on the front of the side surfaces of the lower cuboid. There is an additional USB-C output for charging on the right-hand side and a USB-C input for the power supply on the back.

When folded, only one charging pad can be used. When unfolded, the second charging pad on the top of the lower half can also be used. This is also light gray, but not rubberized and not magnetic. The upper charging pad can also be tilted by up to 70° thanks to the hinge.

The material and workmanship quality of the MagFlow 2-in-1 charger is good. The charger leaves a good impression and has no defects.

Connections of the UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 charger

  • Two charging pads with up to 25 W output power
  • one USB-C output with up to 5 W output power

The UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 charger has a USB-C input for the power supply. A USB power adapter is not included. A separate USB power supply is therefore required for charging, for example from the Nexode Pro or Nexode series with at least 45 W.

The charger has two charging pads. The upper charging pad supports an output power of up to 25 W, the lower one up to 5 W. The USB-C output supports an output power of up to 5 W. The total output power of the charger is up to 35 W. This means that the maximum output power of the individual ports is achieved even when all three outputs are used simultaneously.

Practical test of the UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 charger

  • Charges the smartphone quickly and reliably
  • holds the smartphone very well in all possible positions
  • Low heat generation during charging

In the test, we used the UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 charger with a Google Pixel 10 and briefly with a Pixel 10 Pro. Both smartphones support Google’s Pixelsnap magnetic charging system, which is based on the Qi 2.2 standard. The Pixel 10 supports wireless charging with up to 15 W, the Pixel 10 Pro with up to 25 W. We used a UGREEN Nexode Pro with 100 W as the power supply unit (our test).

Charging our devices always worked quickly and reliably in the test, and the output power was in line with the manufacturer’s specifications. The Pixel 10 was charged with 15 W on the upper charging pad, the Pixel 10 Pro with 25 W. The lower charging pad also worked reliably with in-ear headphones.

The magnetic force of the upper charging pad is approx. 7 N. This means that the magnet can mathematically hold a weight of approx. 700 g. The weight is therefore significantly higher than that of the Pixel 10 (204 g). In practice, the smartphone held very well in all possible positions. The hinge allows the smartphone to be tilted and can also be rotated through 360°. The possible positions covered all our requirements.

Our smartwatch was reliably charged with 5 W at the USB-C output. The output power of up to 5 W is low, but sufficient for smartwatches. For other devices, such as over-ear headphones, a higher output power would be desirable. As the total output power is up to 35 W, the charging power remained constant even when all outputs were used at the same time.

In the test, the temperature of the UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 charger rose slightly. During longer charging times, the charger and the smartphone became noticeably warm, but not hot. The charging power then dropped slightly, but the charging times did not increase significantly. The drop in charging power indicates a well-functioning temperature control.

UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 charger test: Conclusion

The UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 charger impresses in the test with its compact size, its modern and rather simple design, its two charging pads with an output power of up to 25 W and the additional USB-C output for charging. The total output power is up to 35 W and is sufficient for smartphones, in-ear headphones and smartwatches. The low heat development during charging is no cause for criticism.

The USB-C output gives little cause for criticism. The output power of up to 5 W is low; a higher output power would be desirable for other devices. However, an output power of 5 W currently seems to be the standard for other manufacturers.

The UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 charger is currently available for ~40 € (as of 08.03.2026). In our opinion, the price-performance ratio is good and the charger is recommendable. Interested parties should note that, as with other chargers in this price range, a separate USB power supply is required.

PROS
