The label output is located at the front, from which the finished printed labels emerge. A look at the underside reveals four rubber feet. These are designed to prevent the label printer from slipping during operation. A button on the right-hand side allows you to lift the lid of the printer.

This is where the thermal print head, the guide rail for the labels and a rubberized roller, which pulls the labels through the printer at lightning speed, are located. Installation of the VEVOR label printer is user-friendly. After connecting it to the computer using the USB cable supplied, simply install the appropriate driver. I used my iMac for the test. As the printer is suitable for MacOS and WindowsOS, this was no problem. Simply download the driver from the manufacturer’s download center. Once you have installed the driver, you can add the label printer as a new device in the system settings.

If you want to use the VEVOR wirelessly, the model we tested is not suitable for you. After all, it does not have a Bluetooth interface that would enable a connection to the “FlashLabel” app. This means that print jobs are also possible via smartphone. If this is important to you, you should pay close attention to the model designation. In contrast to the “VEVOR Y486” version we tested, the “VEVOR Y486BT” has Bluetooth.

It is important that you adjust the format in your print settings. Otherwise, annoying misprints will occur.
