The Hall-effect switches provide a more responsive gaming experience here, although the keyboard, as a single component, obviously doesn’t directly help improve your skills. The compact layout definitely has a positive impact on the space available for the mouse—so anyone who plays with low DPI settings should appreciate the extra room.

Conclusion

In our test, the Corsair Clipper Pro Mini 60 impressively demonstrates that the compact 60% form factor doesn’t necessarily lack professional features. The fact that Corsair equips this small keyboard with its in-house MGX Hyperdrive Core is certainly one of the model’s strengths. This results in precise key detection and a wide range of options for optimizing the gaming experience—provided you prefer extras like Rapid Trigger, Multi Action, or Flash Tap in competitive shooters.

However, the keyboard does fall short somewhat in terms of build quality. While it’s solid, the plastic chassis looks a bit dated compared to other keyboards. On the plus side, it features IP57 certification, which is absolutely uncommon in this price segment. Another potential point of criticism is the sparse package contents—Corsair could have included a keycap puller or a carrying case, for example.

Now the crucial question arises: Who is this keyboard best suited for? Those who only game occasionally and mainly use their computer for office work will likely be better off with TKL-format keyboards. Otherwise, you’ll have to keep the Fn key assignments in mind.
