The new ATX case from Sharkoon, despite its unobtrusive design, has a few special features. For example, it offers 14 different color modes for the RGB strip on the front.
Compact and yet extensive
The RGB Slider measures 40.0 x 19.0 x 45.6 cm (L x W x H) and is a compact Midi ATX case. Sharkoon has deliberately kept the design minimalistic, which makes the case very noble in appearance. The left side window of the case is made of tempered glass and is attached to the rear end, out of sight. This provides a very good view of the interior. Despite its size, larger hardware can be easily installed. The graphics card can be up to 33.5 cm long and the CPU cooling up to 15.7 cm high. Above the front panel of the RGB Slider are the connectors, two USB 3.0, one USB 2.0 and the audio input. The Sharkoon is designed for a lot of memory, which allows more than one hard drive and storage media to find their place. Up to three SSDs can be easily mounted on the mainboard tray or on the upper side of the power supply tunnel. The hard drive cage can accommodate two 3.5-inch HDDs or even more SSDs, as desired. The lighting is compatible with ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion Ready and ASRock Polychrome SYNC.
A lot of air and easy cleaning
For optimal ventilation, up to three 120 mm fans can be accommodated in the Midi case, with a 120 mm fan already pre-installed in the rear part. Two 140 mm fans or two additional 120 mm fans can be installed in the upper part. The top side is equipped with an easy to clean dust filter, which is magnetic and can be easily removed. Such a filter is also located on the bottom side of the ATX case. If the user wants to install even more fans, an additional 120 mm fan can be installed under the hard disk on the power supply of the case.
14 color modes via RGB control
With the RGB control built over the case, up to 14 different color modes can be set for the RGB LED strip. Also the installation of further RGB elements with a
5V-D-Coded-G or 5V-D-G pinout is no problem and can then be connected via the case.
Price and availability
The Sharkoon RGB Slider case is already available at a price of 39.90 Euro.
