SilentiumPC is a PC hardware manufacturer that was founded in Warsaw, Poland in 2007. The company’s main focus in the development of their products is on the most affordable, yet well-equipped components with a solid workmanship. The focus is mainly on cases and cooling products such as CPU coolers, fans and AiO water cooling systems.
In April, the manufacturer introduced a new CPU cooler called Fera 5. At first glance, the new CPU cooler hardly differs from its predecessor, the Fera 3. Main differences can be found mainly in the included fans. A zero-fan mode is supposed to allow semi-passive operation. In addition, there is a simple mounting system and a black cover for the ends of the heatpipes. The price of the Fera 5 with one fan is 26 Euros (current: € 25.90*) and with two fans 33 Euros (current: € 32.90*). Whether the SilentiumPC Fera 5 can assert itself in this hotly contested price range, you can find out in this review.
