Teufel himself promotes the Soundbar as a “powerful sound deck of the top class”. Nine drivers and two side-mounted woofers are supposed to provide power and the ultimate sound. According to Teufel, the loudspeaker is suitable for rooms up to 25 square metres in size – making it ideal for large living rooms or small one-room apartments. The speakers are equipped with a true centre channel to achieve the best possible speech intelligibility.
The exterior of the cinedeck is made of wood. In contrast to the previous version, the new model will also be available in a white version – Teufel is breaking new ground with it. Behind the wood there is a subwoofer system, which is supposed to provide ideal bass tones. The connection of an external subwoofer can therefore be dispensed with.
The Dynamore Ultra technology is also used, which in combination with the side-mounted loudspeakers provides virtual surround sound. If you prefer real surround sound, you have to purchase an effect speaker in addition to the Cinedeck, which is also offered by Teufel.
The device can be connected in numerous ways. It can be connected to the output device either via Bluetooth with AptX support, via HDMI cable, via ARC or via 4K-Pass-Through. In addition, there is a line-in, an optical digital input and a USB sound card function.
The sound bar will be delivered in the fourth quarter of this year or in the first quarter of next year. The price should be about 600 Euro.
