Following the affordable new all-in-one solution, Anker has introduced a range of other chargers. They are part of the premium Anker Prime range and come with practical functions. The products rely on the advanced GAN technology (gallium nitride), which provides additional safety and intelligent power control.
Anker Prime: New chargers with up to 250 watts
Anker presented a total of three new charging solutions today. The first is the foldable Anker Prime wall charger with 100 watts of power and two USB-C and one USB-A port.
Thanks to Prime technology, each port only uses exactly the amount of energy that the device to be charged actually needs. ActiveShield 2.0 technology ensures that temperatures are monitored at all times, which not only protects the charger but also the connected devices.
The power connection can be easily folded so that the charger can be positioned flat against the wall.
The Anker Prime charger (250W), on the other hand, offers significantly more space. It has six ports (four USB-C and two USB-A) with a total output of 250 watts. The charger also has a 2.3-inch LCD display and a rotary knob that can be used to quickly and easily regulate charging information and power distribution.
If desired, the display can even show a digital clock with customizable designs. Alternatively, this desktop charging solution from Anker is also available in a slightly weaker version with 200 watts of power.
Anker Prime charging dock with 160 watts and 14 connections
The third Anker Prime charger in the group is the Anker Prime Charging Dock (160W), which has 14 ports:
Three USB ports for charging, six USB ports for data transfer, a Gigabit Ethernet port, a full-size upstream port, a 3.5-millimeter jack port and two video outputs with 4K resolution at 60 hertz are available.
The maximum charging power is 160 watts, which means that the docking solution can easily supply even powerful notebooks with energy. There is also a small display on the front that provides information about the charging process and other relevant information.
Prices and availability
All three new chargers from Anker Prime are now available directly from the manufacturer and on Amazon. For the launch, there is a whopping fifteen percent discount on selected Prime innovations up to and including August 25, 2024 with the code “ANKERPOWER”.
The Anker Prime charger (100W) has a recommended retail price of 79.99 euros. The Anker Prime charger (250W) is offered at an RRP of 159.99 euros, while the 200-watt version is priced at 79.99 euros. The 160-watt docking solution comes at an RRP of 199.99 euros.
