AVM is expanding its DSL portfolio with a new model of the popular FRITZ!Box. With the FRITZ!Box 7590 AX, the manufacturer is primarily focusing on the new Wi-Fi 6 WLAN generation.
Digital home can come
The new FRITZ!Box 7590 AX comes with the usual performance and also relies on Wi-Fi 6 for WLAN. With the new generation of WLAN, the FRITZ!Box works more efficiently and also faster. This means that several devices can be supplied wirelessly at the same time without any problems. The 7590 AX has a total of eight antennas, which achieve up to 2,400 MB/s in the 5 GHz band and 1,200 MB/s at 2.4 GHz. Mesh technology makes the FRITZ!Box 7590 AX a top model in the new WLAN generation. Whether home office, home schooling, 4K streaming, gaming or the simultaneous use of many applications, the new FRITZ!Box keeps up.
To top it all off, the 7590 AX supports VDSL Supervectoring, enabling Internet speeds of up to 300 Mbps. The extensive features of the new model also meet all requirements for complete networking of the digital home. From WLAN mesh, DECT base station for smart home applications, connections for landline telephony, cordless phones to fast Internet connection, the FRITZ!Box brings it all.
Not only does AVM’s new FRITZ!Box 7590 AX score points when it comes to WLAN, but it also has four Gigabit LAN ports. These can then also be used to supply several network devices with a maximum data rate via cable. The Gigabit LAN ports and Wi-Fi 6 are fully downward compatible. Through the versatile operating system FRITZ!OS then come even more features, such as a parental control, VPN, WLAN guest access, firewall and regular free updates to the software.
Availability and prices
The new FRITZ!Box 7590 AX will be available from the end of May 2021 at a price of 269 euros. AVM offers a five-year warranty on its FRITZ!Box.
