Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Releases in Game Pass

Activision will continue the popular shooter series this year. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the name of the latest offshoot, and some details are already known. Among other things, the title will be available in the Game Pass on release.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 – What we already know

After the teasers of the past few days, some details about Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 are already known. The hit shooter is considered one of the most eagerly awaited games of 2024 and is expected to be released in the fall.

On release, the title will appear directly in Game Pass, as Microsoft has now confirmed in a press release. This will give subscribers immediate access to the full version of the game, presumably in both Game Pass Console and Game Pass PC.

Following Microsoft’s final takeover of CoD publisher Activision last year, this is now confirmation that the title will appear in the subscription at no additional cost.

Black Ops 6 location confirmed

The location of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is also no longer unknown. The recently released trailer entitled “The Truth Lies” shows former US Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton, former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, among others.

The game therefore revolves around the Second Gulf War, which took place in the early 1990s. This is also revealed by coordinates that can be seen briefly in the trailer and point to the As-Salam Palace in Baghdad.

Details on the gameplay are still scarce, however. But here too, fans won’t have to wait too much longer. Microsoft will be presenting the final version of the game on June 9 at 19:00 German time.

The Xbox Games Showcase will be followed by a separate Black Ops 6 Direct, at which the game will be revealed, including a first look at the gameplay.

According to rumors, the new part of the legendary DOOM series will also be unveiled, which will be titled DOOM: The Dark Ages and set in a medieval setting. Other games from Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda and Xbox Game Studios, as well as third-party titles, will also be presented.
