Cooler Master – MasterBox 540
The MasterBox 540 comes with a volume of almost 52 liters and offers more space than the Cooler Master MB600L V2 with a volume of 37.68 liters, according to the target group of the case. The gamer feeling is provided by the RGB strip placed on the front, which can be controlled via the included ARGB controller. Due to its size, it has more space for graphics cards, two additional HDDs and coolers. The GPU can be a maximum length of 410 mm, up to 180 mm is provided for the PSU and 165 mm is provided for cooling.
In total, up to six fans can be installed in the MasterBox, depending on the size. A 120 mm fan in the rear is already included. The front holds either two 140 mm fans or three 120 mm fans. Additionally, two 120 mm or 140 mm fans can be installed under the lid. In the previous version, only three fans could be installed here. .
The CPU cooler has less space in the Cooler Master MB600L V2, here only a height of 161 mm is provided, a maximum length of 160 mm is offered for the power supply and a maximum of 350 mm is available for the GPU. However, this is only possible if the fans behind the front are omitted, otherwise the length is only 325 mm. As with the MasterBox 540, there are two hard drive slots in the cage and two instead of four 2.5-inch HDDs can be used behind the motherboard.
In terms of ports, there are fewer available here than in the 540 case, here are only two USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) ports and an HD audio port. The new MB600L V2 comes to a dimension of 406 × 204 × 455 mm (L x W x H) and also brings 5.53 kg on the scale.
