Digital proofreading: DeepL Write Pro goes live

AI made in Germany? It does exist! The best example is the helpful translation tool DeepL, whose software company of the same name is based in Cologne. Now, with DeepL Write Pro, a practical tool is coming onto the market that does more than just correct your texts.

DeepL Write Pro is aimed at companies

In recent years, DeepL has made a name for itself as a popular translation tool for both private individuals and companies. But in the years of success, the developers behind the practical tool have of course not been idle. In fact, they have created their own Large Language Model, which is designed to help companies in particular with text creation and control.

To a certain extent, DeepL Write Pro can be thought of as a kind of digital proofreader. This means that it doesn’t just point out spelling mistakes or missing commas. Instead, the program is designed to provide support during the text creation process. Among other things, suggestions are given for alternative formulations or the choice of words.

Developer relies on existing customers

If DeepL Write Pro can establish itself on the market, the company’s success is likely to skyrocket even further. The company’s success is already impressive. According to the Cologne-based developers, more than 100,000 companies actively use DeepL. This is anything but surprising. In our globalized world, it is a great advantage to be able to produce fast and reliable translations.

It will be interesting to see whether the existing customers and active users of DeepL will actually switch to Write Pro. If the plan comes to fruition, the Cologne-based developers hope that DeepL will become “a suite of professional communication tools with which” companies “can promote their global business growth thanks to state-of-the-art AI language technology” in the long term.

Price and availability

To be able to use DeepL Write Pro, it can be easily booked. This costs 10 euros per month. The digital proofreader is currently still aimed at English and German-speaking countries. However, other languages are set to follow over time.
