DOOGEE introduces rugged outdoor smartphones and three tablets

DOOGEE is expanding its portfolio with four new products. In addition to an outdoor smartphone with military standard compliance, the new products include three smart tablets. The target groups of the products differ significantly.

Outdoor smartphone DOOGEE V31GT

The DOOGEE V31GT smartphone is not only clearly marked as an outdoor device by its robust design. The strong camera equipment also indicates the phone’s primary place of use. The 50 MP main SONY IMX766 camera is not only powerful, but also features a vacuum coating that ensures sharp shots in all environmental conditions. In addition, there is a 24 MP night vision camera, created specifically for the darkest environments. The camera set is rounded off by a 32 MP front camera from Sony. DOOGEE ultimately provides the necessary equipment to document hiking or mountain biking tours even in remote terrain or to create impressive nature shots with this equipment.

The V31GT is also equipped with a thermal imaging system that makes it possible to gain completely new insights into the surroundings. Even for outdoor cell phones, the equipment with a thermal imaging camera is by no means a matter of course today, so this can be seen as a unique selling point of the device.

The aforementioned basic rugged design includes a 6.58-inch FullHD display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The display is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and is certified to IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H. Thus, it is largely shatterproof as well as water- and dust-proof even in heavier drops. Even immersion in rivers cannot harm it. DOOGEE thus seamlessly continues the outdoor cell phones S110 and R10.

Meanwhile, the phone is powered by the octa-core Dimensity 1080 processor, which is supported by 20 GB of RAM. There is also an internal storage of 256 GB, which can be expanded up to two TB if required. The equipment is rounded off by a fingerprint sensor, Face ID support, a navigation system, NFC and LTE support, and a strong battery that has a capacity of 10,800 mAh and can be charged particularly quickly.

Tablet T10 Plus – strong and thin

Unlike the V31GT, the smart tablet T10 Plus is not supposed to impress with special durability. Its special qualities include not only its stunning looks, but also its broad and powerful features. It can score points with a 10.51-inch 2K IPS display, for example, which is equipped with a blue light filter certified by TÜV Süd. This is supposed to effectively prevent eye fatigue during longer use.

Other features include quad stereo speakers that are supposed to enable an immersive audio experience. Beyond that, a 3.5 mm jack is found that allows connecting headsets and headphones. A battery with a capacity of 8,250 mAh with an 18-W fast charging option, a 13 MP strong main camera from Sony as well as an eight MP strong front camera and the option to unlock the device via face scan are also on board.

The particularly thin device, whose metal casing is only 7.4 mm thick, is powered by the octa-core Unisoc T606 processor, which can draw on 20 GB of RAM. Besides that, 256 GB of internal storage are available, which can be expanded to one TB. The device is shipped with Android 13.

Tablet T10 Pro – only slightly changed

The also new tablet T10 Pro is a slightly modified version of the T10 Plus. It is equipped with a 10.1-inch Full HD display that is optimized for playing multimedia content. Like the T10 Plus, the display is equipped with a TÜV-SÜD-certified blue light filter. Besides the high resolution, Widevine-L1 support and dual stereo speakers contribute to the multimedia experience. Headphones can also be used without any problems thanks to the 3.5 mm port.

The T10 Pro’s battery holds 8,580 mAh and features 18-W fast charging. The T10 Pro also uses the octa-core Unisoc T606 processor, but it can only access 15 GB here. Android 12 is used as the operating system. However, the internal storage remains unchanged compared with the T10 Plus: 256 GB ex-factory and an optional expansion to one TB are available. The cameras are also just as powerful as in the already presented model.

Visually, however, the two tablets differ a bit, which is not only due to the slightly smaller display of the T10 Pro. It is also a bit thicker, although still surprisingly thin: The metal casing measures 8.5 mm. Different color variants are available here.

Optionally, the tablet comes with a keyboard so that it can function as a kind of mini-notebook.

Tablet U10 – for kids

The U10 tablet clearly differs from the other three products in its target group: It is primarily aimed at children. Thus, DOOGEE already points out in the advertisement for the new device that the many color options allow children to “express their personalities”. The device is not significantly smaller than the other two tablets: Like the T10 Pro, it has a 10.1-inch display. It is also equipped with a blue light filter, but this time certified by TÜV Rheinland. The display has an HD resolution and does not offer any other extras. The children’s tablet also scores points – like the other two tablets – with stereo speakers. It is also equipped with an 8 MP main camera, a five MP front camera and a 5,060 mAh battery.

The device can also convince on the software side. For example, it comes with a preinstalled WPS Office package as well as its own children’s area with selected apps and control functions for parents. It also has functions that enable connection with other devices and thus easier sharing of content, for example.

Prices and availability

DOOGEE’s new products will be available from September 8 to 18 via AliExpress, DoogeeMall as well as Amazon. The prices of the products are not yet known, but DOOGEE has already announced discount promotions, so it is expected that they will be affordable to have.
