GPUs from Nvidia drop in price

When it comes to graphics cards, the GeForce series from Nvidia is considered the savior par excellence. The coveted PC hardware has now been reduced in price by the US manufacturer. Sometimes a substantial saving is possible here.

Nvidia RTX 4000 series shrinks in price

If you need a new graphics card at the moment, you should definitely take a look at Nvidia. The coveted GPUs from the chip expert have fallen noticeably in price, as the price comparison from our colleagues at heise online shows. The models of the powerful RTX 4000 GPUs in particular are currently available at a saving of up to 150 euros. You can save the most on the flagship RTX 4090 with a price of around 1,750 euros.

This may not be a new price record, but it is significantly less than in recent months. As a rule, Nvidia’s GPUs rarely fall below the RRP. However, this has happened with the RTX 4080. Priced at just over 1,000 euros, the standard model and the RTX 4080 Super version are available. In general, the Super versions have a noticeable price reduction. The price for the RTX 4070 Ti Super is around 50 euros below the RRP and therefore only just under 840 euros.

The difference between RRP and market price is even greater for the RTX 4070 Super. At just under 580 euros, it is almost 80 euros below the recommended retail price. So if you’re thinking of getting a 4070, you should go straight for the Super model in view of the small price difference. The RTX 4060 entry-level model is of course the least expensive. You can get the basic GPU for less than 300 euros.

Radeon GPUs are even cheaper

If this is still too expensive for you, it is sometimes worth taking a look at the competition. The graphics cards from AMD are sometimes cheaper than their Nvidia counterparts. You won’t find a single model here that is more expensive than 1,000 euros.

Although you can’t get a bargain on the flagship AMD Radeon EX 7900 XTX, the usual market price of just under €950 is significantly cheaper than that of Nvidia’s top model.

You can also get a Radeon RX 7900 XT for a price starting at 719 euros. In the lower categories, however, Nvidia is once again ahead. You won’t find a current GPU from AMD with a price below 400 euros.
