Manufacturer Kolink expands the Stronghold product range with two additional cases. Stronghold Prism and Stronghold Barricade are spacious midi towers with room for motherboards up to E-ATX, a removable tempered glass side panel and the choice between a minimalist front or maximum airflow.
Kolink Stronghold Barricade & Prism
The manufacturer has unveiled an addition to its Stronghold lineup with the Kolink Stronghold Barricade and Prism cases. The midi-tower Barricade, thereby represents a consistent further development of the Stronghold Overseer.
The metal cases feature either two Kolink Classic PWM fans (in the case of the Barricade) or even four Umbra aRGB PWM 120 mm fans (in the case of the Prism model). Back in the mix is the iconic hexagonal mesh design that provides effective natural airflow. A total of up to six fans can be installed, and it is also possible to install AiO coolers with a size of up to 360 mm.
With the user-friendly and screwless design, installing hardware in these cases is a breeze. The spacious cases have enough room for an E-ATX motherboard, a 330mm GPU and a 165mm CPU cooler, making them best suited for powerful high-end hardware.
Accessible internals
The new Kolink Stronghold cases have been designed to make their interiors easily accessible and expandable. The screwless design allows the top and side panels to be quickly removed, with the tempered glass panel hinged to allow quick access to the inside of the cases.
The tempered glass panel opens easily with the help of the magnetic pull tab. This allows both midi-towers to be easily equipped with new gaming hardware. Kolink Stronghold Prism & Barricade were designed specifically for use with AiOs to maximize cooling potential.
There are a total of three slots for radiators, giving you the option to accommodate more than one full water cooling system. There is room for a 360 mm radiator on the front, a 240 mm radiator on the lid, and a 120 mm radiator on the back.
Prices and availability
The two midi-tower cases, Kolink Stronghold Barricade and Kolink Stronghold Prism, are available now from Caseking’s onlineshop and are expected to be available in mid-November 2021. The MSRP for the Barricade model is 79.90 euros, while the Prism variant will cost 109.90 euros.
