The Roborock family is growing. The Xiaomi subsidiary has announced that the powerful Roborock S7 Pro Ultra will also be launched in Germany. The new vacuuming and mopping robot wants to set new standards, especially with its extensive base station.
“Empty Wash Fill Dock”
Roborock promises one thing above all with its upcoming S7 Pro Ultra: convenience. And this is supposed to consist in particular of the fact that you don’t have to worry about cleaning by the vacuuming and mopping robot. According to the manufacturer, it can keep your home clean for up to seven weeks autonomously thanks to the practical “Empty Wash Fill Dock”. The modern docking station is much more than just a place to charge the robot’s battery. Rather, the robot vacuum cleaner can make a kind of pit stop here. However, not only the collected dirt is vacuumed up. On top of that, the new base station also cleans the robot vacuum’s mop at the same time and refills the fresh water tank.
Roborock revises its flagship
With the release of its S7 Pro Ultra, Roborock not only wants to launch a completely new docking station. On top of that, the Xiaomi subsidiary has, according to its own information, improved the vacuum robot itself. Thus, the successor of the S7+ now reaches 5100 Pascal, which corresponds to a doubling of its previous performance. The convenient operation via app is well-known, but still practical. In the app for iOS and Android, you can put together a customized cleaning schedule thanks to detailed mapping of your own four walls. Once again, the tried-and-tested LiDAR technology is available for detailed mapping. This is located in the small turret on the smart household helper and always ensures the best orientation in the light and in the dark.
The right cleaning solution for every floor
As practical as vacuuming and mopping robots may be, their handling is sometimes awkward. For example, with some models you are forced to remove the mopping unit if you really only want to vacuum. This is advisable for carpeted floors, for example. With the Roborock S7 Pro Ultra, you no longer have to do this thanks to the proven VibraRise technology.
Here, the robot simply raises its mopping unit to avoid wetting the carpet. If he leaves this again, the wiping unit is lowered again. And it does all this fully automatically thanks to integrated carpet detection. We were already able to experience how well the whole thing works with the classic Roborock S7 in a test.
Price and Availability
Sounds like Roborock is perfecting its S7 even further with the extensive “Empty Wash Fill Dock”. Should you want more information on the Xiaomi subsidiary’s upcoming flagship, you can visit the company’s official website. The Roborock S7 Pro Ultra is expected to be available in July 2022 at an MSRP of €1,199. Roborock itself promises in its press release that they will make an introductory offer starting July 7, 2022. As part of this, the vacuum is to be launched at a price of 949 Euros. If that’s too expensive for you, you might be interested in the Ecovacs Depot T9 AIVI at half the price.
