Sharp HT-SB100: 2.0 soundbar announced for only 69 euros

With the Sharp HT-SB100, the manufacturer has announced a new soundbar at a particularly low price. An audio solution with HDMI and Bluetooth, attractive design and compact size awaits you for only 69 Euros. It thus costs significantly less again than, for example, the also quite new Sonos Ray.

The Sharp HT-SB100: Soundbar for everyone

80 centimeters long and weighing 1.4 kg, it is the new 2.0 soundbar Sharp HT-SB100, which also marks the most affordable soundbar the manufacturer has ever built. With a glossy black case and metal grilles, it is discreet and stylish. It can be either stood up or mounted on the wall and is ideal for TVs with a size of 32 inches.

Tentatively, the manufacturer promises solid sound performance, bringing it to a total output power of 75 watts. The 2.0-channel stereo system produces clear sound through separate right and left stereo sound. Offered are three equalizer settings for music, movie and voice, as well as a custom mode you can set yourself.

Wireless or via HDMI and jack

Bluetooth and HDMI are standard features on all of Sharp’s soundbars. Bluetooth 5.1 can be used to wirelessly transfer music from devices such as smartphones and tablets. Alternatively, the USB MP3 port or the convenient 3.5 mm AUX input can be used for external devices.

The Sharp HT-SB100 is connected to the TV via HDMI ARC, while it can also be controlled via the TV remote thanks to HDMI CEC. However, a separate remote control is included in the scope of delivery. Just like all the necessary fasteners for wall mounting.

If desired, however, the operation is also carried out via buttons on the metal grille on the front of the soundbar, which is black in color, but is mainly made of plastic.

Price and Availability

The Sharp HT-SB100 is expected to make its way to German retailers in July 2022. The MSRP is a reasonable 69 euros. You can find more details on the official product website of the manufacturer.
