Maximum security for important data and a storage capacity of up to 8 TB is promised by the new Teamgroup M200 SSD. The M200 Portable External SSD from T-FORCE combines a military-inspired design with the manufacturer’s patented graphene cooling technology.
M200 SSD: Rugged exterior, big memory
The T-FORCE M200 Portable External SSD is an ultra-lightweight USB3.2 Gen2x2 SSD weighing only 83g and offering up to 2,000MB/s transfer speed and 8TB storage capacity. Featuring Teamgroup’s patented graphene cooling technology, the M200 uses a dual metal structure to increase cooling surfaces and ensure stable transfer. On a military-style hanging hole, the external SSD hard drive can be transported quickly and easily.
Further highlighting portability and its unique design. Scheduled for global release in early December 2021, the M200 will become the primary storage support for consumers storing large 3A game files or 4K and 8K UHD video.
At the 2021 Good Design Awards, the exterior of the M200 SSD swept the award for its unique and functional design. It also turns out to be particularly robust and can withstand drops of up to two meters.
Thanks to USB 3.2 Gen 2×2, it comes to high transfer speeds and is also compatible with all the latest game consoles to store saves or 4K videos, as well as screenshots.
Price and Availability
The M200 Portable External SSD from Teamgroup’s T-FORCE series is scheduled to launch worldwide in early December 2021. Capacities of 2 TB, 4 TB and 8 TB will be offered. The manufacturer has not yet given any information about the prices.
