Teamgroup MP34Q M.2 PCIe SSD with up to 8 TB of storage

The Taiwanese computer hardware manufacturer has introduced its new M.2 PCIe SSD, the MP34Q. The SSD is available in three different capacities, 2 TB, 4 TB or 8 TB.

High capacities with up to 8 TB

Especially the capacities of the new Teamgroup MP34Q M.2 PCIe SSD are particularly high, so storing a lot of files is no problem. With up to 8 TB, there are still rather fewer options on the market so far. Besides 8 TB of storage, there are still 2 and 4 TB storage capacities on offer. The MP34Q M.2 PCIe SSD uses QLC flash and supports NVMe 1.3.

In addition, the Teamgroup MP34Q uses the PCIe Gen3x4 interface and supports SLC caching technology as well as DRAM cache buffers. Overall, the SSD reaches up to 3,400 MB/s read and up to 3,000 MB/s write for a smooth experience.

With monitoring software

To keep an eye on the status of the SSD at all times, Teamgroup offers SSD S.M.A.R.T. tool monitoring software. With this, the status of the products can be tracked at any time, so that by simply testing and setting up, performance and condition can be queried.

Availability and pricing

The new Teamgroup MP34Q M.2 PCIe SSD is scheduled to go on sale in mid-August. How it looks price-wise in our country has not been announced yet, but the US prices already give us a hint. The 2 TB model is supposed to cost 299.99 US dollars, the 4 TB variant 699.99 US dollars and the 8 TB model 1,299.99 US dollars. Teamgroup offers a five-year warranty for its SSDs.
