Motorola presents Moto G Stylus 2024 with stylus and 120 Hz display

Motorola has officially unveiled a new mid-range smartphone, the Moto G Stylus 2024. It features a 6.7-inch 120 Hz display, comes with an integrated stylus and has a 50 MP camera.

Like its predecessor, the new Moto G Stylus 2024 is based on the mid-range Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, which is manufactured using the 4 nm process and combines four performance cores with up to 2.2 GHz with four efficiency cores with 1.8 GHz.

The 8 GB of RAM can borrow an additional 8 GB from the 256 GB system memory, which can be expanded to up to 2 terabytes using a microSD card. The display is also new, as Motorla has opted for a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels in full HD and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It also has a peak brightness of 1,200 nits and comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor.

The eponymous stylus is removed from the bottom of the casing and can be used for taking notes or drawing.

The Moto G Stylus 2024 measures 162.56 mm x 74.75 mm x 8.3 mm and weighs 190 grams. The back of the smartphone, which is available in the colors Caramel Latte (Beige) and Scarlet Wave (Red), is made of vegan leather.

Powerful cameras, large battery

Motorola has equipped the Moto G Stylus 2024 with a 50-megapixel main camera that offers an open aperture of f/1.8. There is also a 12 MP ultra wide-angle camera (f/2.2) with macro mode and a 32 megapixel selfie camera on the front with an aperture of f/2.4.

The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and can be charged via USB-C with 30 watts or wirelessly with 15 watts. Android 14 is used as the operating system, Motorla also promises three years of security updates, but only one major Android update.

Price and availability

The Motorola Moto G Stylus 2024 will be released in the USA on May 30 at an RRP of 399.00 US dollars. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not yet revealed if and when the smartphone will be available internationally. However, it can be assumed.
