Save at the start of the year: Jackery Powerstations in the SALE

There is hardly any other product category that has experienced as much hype in recent months as power stations. This is hardly surprising given the wide range of possible applications and the ecological approach of mobile energy storage systems. One of the best-known manufacturers is Jackery. If you want to enter the world of power stations this year, now is the perfect time. The US manufacturer has significantly reduced the price of two of its popular energy storage units. And they even come with a matching solar panel!

Square, practical, good? The E500 is not really square, but it is certainly practical and good. We were able to see this for ourselves during our extensive test. Compact dimensions of just 30 x 19.3 x 24.2 cm and a weight of 6.4 kg, combined with a handy carrying handle, ensure that you can carry this energy storage unit from A to B with ease. This makes it ideal for a festival weekend or a small barbecue party in the city park. But it’s not just the portable design that’s on the plus side. The performance data is also good.

Under the hood is a 518 Wh lithium-ion battery, which supplies many of your electronic companions with the power they need thanks to a solid selection of connections, from smartphones to kettles. The device features 3x USB-A, 1x Schuko socket, 1x car connection and 2x DC ports. This is more than enough for a solid camping household. The maximum output is 500 W (constant) and 1,000 W as a temporary peak value. The easy-to-read display allows you to keep an eye on the most important information during operation. In addition to the battery status, this also includes the input and output power values.

Sooner or later, however, every battery will run out. And then it’s time to Recharge it! The easiest way to do this with the Explorer 500 is via a conventional household socket. Here you have to wait around 7 to 9 hours. The same applies to charging via the cigarette lighter. If you want or need to be completely independent of a power socket and car, simply use the practical SolarSaga 100 solar panel from Jackery. This charges the power station with up to 100 W of power and fully recharges the battery in just under 10 hours. Jackery offers its handy power station in a practical bundle with the compact solar panel.

Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro

As the name suggests, Jackery’s Pro series offers plenty of power for demanding customers. Accordingly, the performance is also significantly better than that of the E500. However, the manufacturer has also put a little more effort into the design. In the test, this was not only of a higher quality and more modern. The larger energy storage unit also beat its little brother in terms of practicality. The US expert for modern energy solutions has installed a retractable carrying handle. The advantage is obvious. Not only can you conveniently place things on the flat surface that are currently being charged, for example. What’s more, the power station can be stowed away in the trunk of your car to save space.

In view of the larger battery capacity of 1,002 Wh, it is not surprising that the mobile energy storage unit is also significantly larger than the Explorer 500. The double capacity results in dimensions of 34 x 26.2 x 25.5 cm and a weight of 11.5 kg. However, the larger housing also has space for more connections. In addition to 2x Schuko sockets with a maximum output of 1,000 W (constant) and 2,000 W (temporary peak value), you also get 2x USB-A (max. 18 W) with Quick Charge 3.0 and 2x USB-C (max. 100 W). The whole thing is rounded off with a car connection.

While the outputs are located at the front, the connections for recharging the Explorer 1000 Pro battery are located at the rear. Here, too, you have three options. Firstly, the power station can be charged from 0 to 100 within 1.8 hours using a household socket. Alternatively, you can also use your car or solar panel for charging. As up to 800 W input power is also possible when charging using solar energy, the Powerstation also only needs 1.8 h for a complete charge in optimum weather conditions.

Attractive bundle on offer!

One of the biggest advantages of Jackery’s mobile energy storage systems is, of course, the ability to charge them even without a power socket. That’s why the company offers both the Explorer 500 and the Explorer 1000 Pro in practical bundles with a matching solar panel. You can currently get the following bargains:
