Manufacturer Alpha ESS has been one of the most renowned brands in the field of energy storage solutions in Germany for many years, including home storage systems, portable power stations and e-car charging stations.

The Alpha ESS VitaPower, an all-in-one balcony power station that combines all components such as batteries, controller, inverter and display in a single, compact device, will go on sale on March 12. VitaPower also scores points with its broad compatibility with 99 percent of all solar modules from the best-known manufacturers.

VitaPower is just the size of a desktop PC and is therefore also suitable for smaller balconies and apartments.

Installation is also extremely simple: without the need for complex cabling or work on the walls, setup is completed in just 10 minutes. Simply connect to the PV systems via the MC4 interface, plug into the socket and you’re ready to go – it couldn’t be easier.

Powerful performance and expandable storage

The Alpha ESS VitaPower micro inverter offers an output of up to 2,000 watts and is customizable to adapt to changing legal requirements in the future.

The future viability is underlined by an expandable capacity of up to 6,144 Wh with up to five additional batterys, which is enough to cover the electricity consumption of a family of two to four.

In addition, VitaPower allows the output power to be delivered at both 600 W and 800 W, thus adapting to the current regulations regarding public grid feed-in in Germany.

Advanced LFP technology and a robust battery management system (BMS) also increase the safety, longevity and performance of the AiO balcony power station: each battery can easily withstand more than 6,000 energy cycles.

VitaPower can also be easily used as a portable power supply. Two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports with 100 watts of power and three AC sockets with 1,000 watts of output power are available for this purpose.

With a size of 430 x 210 x 323 mm and a weight of 18.3 kg, VitaPower is also suitable for taking on vacation without taking up too much space.

Practical app control

The Alpha ESS VitaPower can be connected to the AlphaLite app, which enables household appliances to be controlled or energy consumption and production to be monitored in real time on a smartphone, for example.

Not only can the entire system be operated and managed remotely, the app also ensures that the energy solution is always up to date.
