Amazon Inspire: Tik-Tok style shopping feed launches in USA

In the U.S., Amazon is launching a new feed in its own shopping app that is based on the social network Tik Tok. Amazon Inspire, as the service is called, aims to provide inspiration with personalized photos and videos and, of course, encourage people to buy.

Amazon Inspire launches in the US

Within the Amazon Shopping app, there’s a new feature. Even if initially only within the USA. This is called Amazon Inspire and offers a feed that functions similarly to that of the social network Tik Tok. The target group is thus clearly definite, but the shipping giant also wants to address other buyers in this way.

Within the feed, personalized shopping recommendations are displayed as pictures or short videos. But before that, you first determine which areas interest you based on the categories.

Then the images or videos, sometimes with influencers, are played in, in which you can immediately see which products are shown. With a tap of your finger, you can then get to the product page and buy them.

Actively contribute to the feed

Of course, Amazon Inspire is also meant to serve as a source of inspiration. This type of social shopping is an innovation in its form. Videos and images, for example, are to be created for the Inspire shopping feed by customers who add these very media to their reviews. These can then show up in the feed

Participants in the Amazon Influencer program will also benefit, because media content posted on their own storefront will also find its way directly into the Inspire feed.

But companies and manufacturers themselves can also play out qualified photos or videos, provided they have an active Brand Store. For the time being, Amazon Inspire is only available in the U.S., but it should certainly find its way to Germany in the near future.

In the U.S., shoppers can also benefit from Prime Air delivery via drone – the shipping giant has just introduced a new model called MK30, which is supposed to be able to deliver goods within just 30 minutes.
