Anker EverFrost: Kickstarter campaign for mobile refrigerator

The temperatures are rising steadily, the daily hours of sunshine are increasing and the winter jacket can slowly be banished in the closet. Spring is just around the corner! So it’s high time to finally get the barbecue out of the cellar again and make yourself comfortable in the countryside. But what about cool drinks? This is where the Anker EverFrost comes into play. The mobile refrigerator, which resembles a power station on wheels, not only offers space to chill your drinks. On top of that, it comes with a powerful freezer compartment. The corresponding Kickstarter campaign has now been launched. And you can save big here!

Anchor EverFrost provides cooling

Even if summer temperatures are still hard to imagine in the current weather, Anker has now launched a device that should provide us with cooling even on hot days. The manufacturer already announced a few weeks ago that the Anker EverFrost would be a battery-powered combination of a fridge and a freezer. Now the company, what we actually know mainly from products in the field of consumer electronics, got serious and started its campaign on Kickstarter.

It is primarily the freezing unit that is convincing here. According to Anker, this is namely supposed to be able to reach -20 degrees Celsius and thus cool food down to freezing point in under half an hour. The Anker EverFrost is to be launched in three different sizes. There is a choice of 33 liters, 43 liters or 53 liters. The largest of the three models is particularly exciting. After all, it offers two different cold zones.

This ensures that you can cool and freeze in parallel. The 299 Wh battery provides endurance. This should be able to maintain a temperature of 4 degrees Celsius for 42 hours. If the battery is empty, the cooler can be recharged via a power outlet, a car port or even with the help of a solar panel. The latter is supposed to take less than four hours in combination with the company’s own Anker 625 solar panel.

The rather heavy refrigerator can be moved from A to B with the help of the two wheels like a kind of rolling suitcase. Practical other gadgets such as an integrated bottle opener and a transport handle that can be turned into a tabletop round out the features.

If the worst comes to the worst, the Anker EverFrost can then also be used as a power bank. You can conveniently charge devices such as smartphones at the two USB-A ports and the one USB-C port. The integrated display lets you keep an eye on everything from the temperature to the remaining battery.

Now available on Kickstarter

Anker has put its announcement into action and has now released the handy cooler and freezer box as a campaign on Kickstarter. Prices start at $439 for the smallest 33-liter model. The EverFrost with 43 liters, on the other hand, will cost $469. The largest model with 53 liters costs $569. Considering that the MSRPs are said to be almost double that and Anker is a reputable manufacturer, you should urgently keep an eye on this cooler if you are currently looking for a cooling solution on the go. Delivery is scheduled to start in June. More info is available on the official website.
