Asus Presents New ZenFones

Taiwan-based manufacturer Asus has introduced two new smartphones in its ZenFone series. The two new smartphones are designed to impress with above-average battery power. But they also have a lot to offer beyond this point.

The “ZenFone Max” has a 6.3 inch HD+ display and immediately stands out due to its frameless design. The screen-to-body ratio of the device is 88 percent. The device, which is equipped with a 4,000 mAh rechargeable battery and is intended to guarantee eight hours of continuous use, is powered by the OctaCore “Snapdragon 632” processor. This is supported by 4 GB of RAM. A further highlight is the camera system with 13 MP main lens, phase recognition autofocus, intelligent scene recognition and electronic image stabilisation. The second camera of the system is 2 MP strong and is responsible for the depth of field and the bokeh effect. The front also features an 8 MP Selfie camera.

Even more performance is promised by the “ZenFone Max Pro”, which is also on display and comes with a 5,000 mAh rechargeable battery and an uninterrupted service life of ten hours. As far as the display is concerned, it differs from the “ZenFone Max” in that it resolves with Full HD and achieves a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. However, it is also equipped with a more powerful processor – namely the OctaCore processor “Snapdragon 660” – and 16 GB RAM. The device also has more powerful cameras. The main camera system here consists of a 12 MP main lens and a 5 MP support lens, while the Selfie camera has 13 MP.

The two new devices are now available. The “ZenFone Max” is offered in the color “Midnight Black” and costs approximately 200 euro, while the “ZenFone Max Pro” is offered in “Midnight Blue” and costs approximately 300 euro. The Smartphones can be bought in the eShop of the manufacturer.
