ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate OLED: World’s first 2-in-1 Detachable with OLED & Windows 11

ASUS has presented a real world premiere with the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED. After all, the flexible notebook is the world’s first 2-in-1 detachable with a 13.3-inch OLED display and Windows 11. Thus, the Vivobook is supposed to be equally suitable for work and entertainment and can be used flexibly.

Flexibility in the ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate OLED

ASUS installs a 13.3-inch OLED Dolby Vision touchscreen, which is supposed to provide high-contrast and vivid colors. Inside the ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate OLED is an Intel Pentium Silver N6000 quad-core processor with a clock speed of up to 3.3 GHz. A 256GB M.2 NVME PCIe Gen 3.0. SSD and up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM provide strong performance for work or leisure.

The 16:9 OLED display can display 1.07 billion colors and is PANTONE validated. The Vivobook 13 Slate OLED offers a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut for accurate color representation. Thanks to DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, the detachable can display deep blacks and brilliant highlights.

Together with the contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, this ensures intense details even in very dark pictures. In addition, the OLED display has a fast response time of 0.2 milliseconds and, as certified by TÜV Rheinland, reduces harmful blue light by up to 70 percent compared to an LCD display.

Dolby Atmos sound and low weight

For a massive sound, the ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate OLED features the built-in Dolby Atmos sound system with four speakers. It uses an intelligent amplifier to drive the full-range speakers without distortions even at maximum volume. The detachable full-size keyboard with a key drop of 1.4 mm is magnetically attached and allows comfortable typing.

Weighing only 800 grams and with an enduring 50 Wh battery, it is the ideal companion for a mobile lifestyle and delivers the right boost for more productivity and fun.

Operation with ASUS Pen 2.0

Operating the touchscreen is the ASUS Pen 2.0, which features four interchangeable stylus tips in different textures that mimic 2H, H, and HB pencils for a natural feel when sketching and drawing. Via a Bluetooth connection, the stylus offers intuitive functions via shortcut button, such as taking screenshots or navigating to the next page of a presentation. With 4,096 pressure levels and a sampling rate of 266 Hz, precise drawings or notes can be made.

For maximum connectivity, the ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate OLED offers two USB-C ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a microSD card slot. ASUS WiFi Master technology ensures an even more stable and reliable WiFi 6 connection, and there is an optional fingerprint sensor on the power button for quick one-touch login.

Thanks to USB-C Easy Charge, the Vivobook can be charged via a powerbank or any USB-C charger. Fast charging is also on board: The detachable can be charged to 60 percent in just 39 minutes via the included charger.

ASUS also builds two cameras into the notebook: a 5-megapixel camera on the front for clear video calls and a 13-megapixel camera on the back for quick and sharp snapshots or document scans. AI noise-canceling audio also ensures voices are as clear as possible during meetings.

Price and Availability

The ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate OLED (model number: T3300) is available now starting at an MSRP of $599.00.
