CMF by Nothing Phone 1: Teaser and leak published
After the first earbuds and a smartwatch, the CMF by Nothing brand is now working on a smartphone. The Nothing subsidiary, which focuses on products with a clear design and an appealing price-performance ratio, has teased the CMF by Nothing Phone 1 on its own website and via X.
There it appears in the iconic orange design and with a rotary control. It is currently difficult to guess what this is intended for. However, the two leakers Technerd and MlgmXyysd have provided the first details on the features, which give hope for a strong price-performance ratio.
First of all, there is talk of the rotary control being intended for connecting special accessories produced by Nothing. Holders and lanyards are mentioned as examples.
More interesting, however, are the leaked specs. According to these, the CMF by Nothing Phone 1 will have a plastic frame with a back made of vegan leather or polycarbonate and a 6.7-inch OLED display with a frame rate of 120 Hz.
Under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 7200, which houses two ARM Cortex-A715 performance cores with clock speeds of up to 2.8 GHz and six Cortex-A510 efficiency cores with 2.0 GHz.
According to the leak, there is also 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of system memory and a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged by cable with 33 watts. In terms of cameras, the smartphone is said to have a 50 MP main camera and a 16 MP selfie lens.
The smartphone is expected to be unveiled shortly.
