In the past, the Corsair One series has been characterized by compact and powerful gaming PCs such as the One i300. A new model, the Corsair One i500, will be unveiled on May 6th, but almost all of the specifications have already been published in a leak.
Update: May 06 – Corsair One i500 is official
As expected, Corsair has officially unveiled the One i500. The gaming PC is 30% smaller than a full-size desktop PC without compromising on performance. At its peak, it is even offered with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090.
The slim aluminum housing uses FSC-certified real wood panels. It also features customizable underbody and front cover lighting and is available in the colors Wood Dark and Wood Bright. There is also a touch sensor on the rear panel, which makes it easier to find the rear connections.
The PC can be equipped with up to 192 GB of DDR5 memory and 24 TB of data storage, while capture cards, network cards, audio cards, USB expansion cards and more can be added directly in the configurator.
Prices start at 4,199.99 euros for the Corsair One i500 with RTX 4080 Super, while the variant with RTX 4090 is priced at 5,499.99 euros.
Corsair One i500: Larger, but with liquid cooling and RTX 4080 Super
According to the teaser website, the Corsair One i500 is actually not due to be unveiled until May 6, but the product website in the US store Newegg apparently went online too early, but was then removed again. Of course, the website Archiv.org was able to obtain the specifications beforehand.
Accordingly, Corsair is moving away from the compact 12-liter case with the new model of the gaming PC and is offering a classic tower with a volume of 22 liters, which has a wooden look on the front. This features the Corsair logo in the middle, which is illuminated and framed by two light strips.
The front ports are located on the underside, with two USB-A ports, one USB-C port and a 3.5 mm jack. Overall, the One i500 measures 38.9 cm x 19.2 cm x 29.9 cm (height x width x depth) and weighs around 7.2 kg.
In terms of features, the gaming PC is equipped with an Intel Core i9-14900K with liquid cooling, 32 GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 RAM and a 2 terabyte NVMe SSD. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super is used as the graphics card, which is also liquid-cooled.
With 1,000 watts of power, the power supply has sufficient reserves for even more powerful hardware, while the mainboard is not specified in more detail, but relies on an Intel B760 chipset. Wi-Fi 6E is also offered, as is Bluetooth 5.3.
Price and availability of the Corsair One i500
According to Newegg, the Corsair One i500 starts at a price of 3,599.99 US dollars, which would be appropriate given the hardware installed.
