Corsair presents new CPU liquid cooling – iCUE H170i ELITE CAPELLIX

Corsair has unveiled its first 420mm AiO cooler, the iCUE H170i ELITE CAPELLIX, and expectations are high for the manufacturer’s new flagship.

High performance, with low noise

Corsair is now looking to enter the 420mm AiO cooling market with the new iCUE H170i ELITE CAPELLIX. The high-performance RGB pump head is equipped with 33 ultra-bright LEDs, which shine together with the RGB fans. Along with this comes a powerful and also silent cooling system, thus not only providing a great design, but the cooling runs much better that way. The heatsink system is optimized with 128 micro fins per inch, ensuring very efficient cooling regardless of the workload. The coolant flow of the copper heat sink is split.

Very quiet in the new AiO cooling from Corsair is also the centrifugal pump, it brings a flow rate of up to 0.82 l/min and that at less than 20 dBA. Thus, extreme cooling performance is achieved and that at a very low noise level. The extreme cooling performance is provided by the RGB fans with magnetic levitation bearings, which are equipped with eight RGB LEDs and bring a powerful airflow.

Appearance Customizable

Thanks to the included pump caps, the appearance of the iCUE H170i ELITE CAPELLIX can be changed according to your own preferences. The pump cap already installed is in a sleek glossy black and the second pump cap is transparent so that the glowing Capellix LEDs are directly visible.

iCUE Commander CORE for control

The included iCUE Commander CORE can be used to control the AiO cooling. This can control the RGB lighting effects of the fans and also the fan speed. Additional fans from Corsair can also be controlled with this. A total of up to six fans are possible. With the Corsair iCUE software, the pump speed and the fan speed can be adjusted. Likewise, the RGB lighting of the cooler can be controlled and synchronized with all other iCUE-compatible devices.

Processor and coolant temperature is easily monitored through the centralized and intuitive interface. To reduce fan noise or even stop the fans completely at low temperatures, the Corsair iCUE software features “Zero RPM” cooling profiles.

Availability and Price

The new Corsair iCUE H170i ELITE CAPELLIX is available now at a price of 228.90 euros. Thereby, the installation to the modular mounting bracket is installed quickly and completely without tools. The cooling is compatible with the current Intel and AMD sockets.
