Creative: Affordable headset ‘Chat’ presented

The Chat is a new wired plug-and-play headset that is in the lowest price range, but should not only convince in terms of price, but also quality. It is intended as a multi-function headset.

Plug-and-play solution for everyday use

In the headset’s advertising, manufacturer Creative primarily points out the device’s easy usability: As a plug-and-play device, users do not have to go through the installation of software or click through settings menus. Instead, the headset can be used immediately. The device is equipped with 40 mm neodymium drivers that are supposed to provide a pleasant sound, a retractable and noise-canceling microphone, and a button that can be used to quickly mute the microphone.

The headset is thus suitable primarily as a practical and simple solution for everyday activities. Especially in the home office, it should meet a broad target group, which is possibly looking for an acoustic solution for work at home for the first time and does not want to spend too much money for it. The broad compatibility with Macs, PCs and mobile devices should also contribute to the device’s appeal in this context.
