Eunorau Flash: E-moped offers endurance and resilience
The market for e-bikes is booming. With the Eunorau Flash, another bike with an electric motor has now been presented. It will be available in three different versions. The robust design already makes it clear that it is suitable even for heavyweight riders. But also in the discipline of the range, so important for e-bikes, the two-wheeler scores with thick tires.
Eunorau Flash offers 220 Nm
The Eunorau Flash is a campaign on the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo. The focus is on an e-bike that is supposed to offer a motor output of 1,500 watts in its top configuration. This is supposed to be made possible by a dual-motor concept, in which the manufacturer gives the bike two motors at once. Besides the Eunorau Flash AWD, there are two other versions. While the classic Eunorau Flash offers a mid-motor with 1,000 watts, the Eunorau Flash Lite comes with a 750-watt rear motor. Especially with the mid-motor, the robust e-bike is supposed to achieve surprisingly good torques. According to the manufacturer, 220 Nm should be possible with the standard version. The AWD version offers an equally very good value of 182 Nm.

Also the rest of the equipment can really be seen. So the manufacturer equips his Eunorau Flash in the version with mid-motor not only with a force sensor. On top of that, you do without a classic suspension fork. Instead, a real damper is used. This is not the only thing that makes it clear that, strictly speaking, these are not conventional e-bikes. The drive is also not the norm. The three electrifying two-wheelers don’t just accelerate when you pedal. Instead, they are capable of accelerating even without the rider’s intervention.
Here’s the catch, though. After all, the Eunorau Flash cannot be categorized as a simple e-bike. Much more appropriate would be the term of an e-moped. So there is no getting around a registration in this country. The moped impression is also underlined by the presumably very comfortable moped seat on which the rider sits. Since the seat is quite long, there’s nothing to stop you from taking another person along. According to the manufacturer, the required load capacity for this should be given without any problems.
The possible payload is up to 200 kg. With its own weight of 42 kg, the e-moped is already quite a heavyweight. Despite its high weight, the Eunorau Flash is supposed to score with high acceleration, especially in the AWD version. The manufacturer promises acceleration from 0 to 45 km/h in just 8 seconds. The range is also impressive. Up to three batteries can be installed. In combination to the uses of the lowest support stage should be possible with full Akkus up to 350 km.

Price and availability
The first pictures make it clear that the Eunorau Flash should be a real helper for everyday life. Thus, even heavy luggage such as the weekly groceries can be transported with the appropriate accessories. On top of that, the bike comes with a 150 lux light at the front. Anyone interested in the electric moped can support the campaign on Indiegogo. For the cheapest model in the form of the Eunorau Flash Lite, the manufacturer is asking for at least 1,371 euros. However, you should not rush to buy it, but remember that it can only be used on German roads if it has the appropriate registration.
