Hepha Trekking 7 Ultra: Powerful e-bike presented

With the Trekking 7 Ultra, Hepha has introduced a new high-performance e-bike, which should not only convince with its motor power, but also with a sufficient range for extended tours.

Completion of the Trekking 7 series

The Trekking 7 Ultra represents the third model in the Trekking 7 series and completes it. The Ultra is the most powerful e-bike in the series. It is equipped with a mid-mounted motor that weighs in at 2.8 kilograms and can generate up to 100 Nm of torque. This enables a top speed of 25 km/h.

The Trekking 7 Ultra is also equipped with a battery integrated into the frame, which has a capacity of 708 Wh and thus enables ranges of up to 200 kilometers. The battery can be detached from the frame for charging if required. This creates flexibility through external charging options. A 2.8-inch color display provides information about the remaining battery charge while riding. The display also provides additional information about the e-bike and controls the bike’s lights. The latter can also be automated: The display is equipped with a light sensor that can be used to control the regulation of the bike light.

The Trekking 7 Ultra’s equipment is rounded off by a Shimano RD-M6000 gear system with ten gears and M535 brakes from Tektro. With this overall equipment, the Ultra is supposed to be a real all-rounder: strong on climbs uphill, fast and with a comprehensive battery for long bike tours. The e-bike weighs 27 kilograms, and the permissible total weight is 150 kilograms. Mudguards and a luggage rack are included.

Price and availability

The new Trekking 7 Ultra is not only the most powerful, but also the most expensive model in the Trekking 7 range. The price of the e-bike is 2,999 euros. The bike is available in both low and high entry versions and in two color variants (Dark Grey and Sand). It is scheduled for delivery between May 2 and June 2.
