Hepha Trekking 7: Chic e-bike with mid-motor and 200 km range

Manufacturer Hepha has introduced a new e-trekking bike that is offered in different variants. The technical equipment of the Hepha Trekking 7 is more than impressive in all variants.

The Hepha Trekking 7 in detail

The Hepha Trekking 7 from the German manufacturer comes optionally as a Long Rang or Performance variant. Both models have a 708 Wh battery in common, which should allow a range of up to 200 kilometers. The battery is invisibly integrated into the down tube of the e-bike.

It is charged with the help of a new HEPHA charger, which supplies the battery with 100 percent energy in around four hours via fast charging. Half a charging process to 50 percent therefore takes 1.6 hours.

The Long Range variant relies on a slightly weaker mid-range motor with 80 Nm of torque, while the Performance model delivers 90-100 Nm. They both offer pedal assistance up to a maximum of 25 km/h. The engine or its torque can be adjusted in the configuration, however, so there are both variants with up to 100 Nm.

Gear derailleur with 10 gears

Switched is the Hepha Trekking 7, regardless of the equipment, with a 10-speed derailleur. However, there are differences between the two models in terms of the rest of the equipment, such as the gears or the brakes.

Both models are also available with a high or a low entrance, they also differ from each other in terms of design. Hydraulic disc brakes and a high-quality suspension fork with lockout function are also offered.

Both bikes weigh around 27 kilograms and are designed for a permissible total weight of up to 150 kg. The e-bike is offered in frame sizes M (170 – 185 cm) and L (180 – 195 cm).

Prices and Availability

The new Hepha Trekking 7 e-bike is now available to order directly from the manufacturer. The Long Rang model starts at 2,499 euros, the performance variant comes in at a minimum of 2,799 euros. A fender including luggage rack and a front light are, at least currently, free of charge.
