Gigabyte: AORUS gaming chair in inflatable design announced

Your apartment is too small to permanently integrate a gaming chair? Then Gigabyte might have the right solution for you. The upcoming AORUS gaming chair relies on an inflatable design, which means it can be easily set up or taken down as needed. But the concept is not the only exciting thing about the somewhat different gaming chair.

Gloomy design

In the highly competitive market of gaming chairs, you currently have to find novel approaches to be successful. After all, Ikea, one of the world’s largest furniture manufacturers, has now even entered the segment. Gigabyte now seems to have found a suitable niche with its gaming division AORUS, which has been virtually unoccupied so far. In an announcement on Twitter, the Taiwanese tech company published the first pictures of its upcoming piece of furniture specifically for gamers. What makes it special is not only the gloomy look, but also the inflatable design. When inflated, it is almost reminiscent of scenes from a science fiction movie.

High resistance

Of course, when you hear about an inflatable piece of furniture, the first thing you think about is durability. After all, balloons & Co. are not exactly known for being able to last for many months. Gigabyte promises to use selected, resistant and easy-care materials so that you can enjoy the gaming chair for a long time. In particular, you should be able to clean the somewhat different gaming chair in a flash if it gets dirty.

How comfortable the piece of furniture will ultimately be remains to be seen. Beyond that, we’re not even sure if this is a serious product teaser at all, or rather a bit of a marketing stunt. What is certain is that Gigabyte will not create a chair that is as comfortable as the high-priced classic gaming chairs from AORUS, even without test sitting. We remain curious and will keep you up to date.
