GrammarlyGO: AI product aims to make writing more productive

AI tools have been the talk of the town ever since ChatGPT. Now Grammarly, which only recently launched a German presence, is also getting in on the action with its own tool called GrammarlyGO, which is designed to increase productivity when writing.

GrammarlyGO: What can the new AI tool do?

Grammarly says it helps 30 million people and 50,000 business teams communicate effectively in English – per day. Now it’s adding the generative AI tool GrammarlyGO. “Rapidly generating highly relevant text takes into account the personal expression, brand style of the writer, context and intent of the message,” the vendor promises.

GrammarlyGO is said to innovatively leverage personal, corporate and situational context, such as expression and style, the channel in which users are writing and the purpose, to generate relevant, personalized communications.

The tool allows people to rewrite, ideate, and even respond within applications and websites, which should increase efficiency in their own workflow. And, if possible, without the other person or people noticing that an AI has been involved.

GrammarlyGO can compose texts by entering a short prompt, answer e-mails, revise the tone and clarity of a text (in whole text sections), shorten or expand texts, personalize them and even help with idea development by generating drafts or ideas that can be copied directly into the text on Wunch.

Availability in various product offerings

GrammarlyGO will be available in several Grammarly product offerings, including Grammarly Free (in select markets), Grammarly Premium, Grammarly Business, Grammarly for Education and Grammarly for Developers.

Individual users will have the new tool enabled by default and can turn it on and off in the settings. Grammarly Business and Grammarly for Education administrators will have the ability to enable the new feature for their organizations. This gives them control over which features are most helpful for their needs.
