Huawei presents new smartwatches, notebooks and tablets

Huawei presented its upcoming products at a major launch event in Dubai. The focus was clearly on the two new smartwatches, the new flagship notebook and a new tablet.

Huawei Watch Fit 3

Wait a minute, is that an Apple Watch? This is probably what many people think when they take a look at the Watch Fit 3. After all, it looks very similar to its counterpart from the Californian tech company. But when you look at the price tag, it becomes clear that this smartwatch cannot be from Apple.

The focus here is on a 1.82-inch AMOLED display, which aims to impress with its high resolution. With a height of just 9.9 mm and a weight of a feather-light 26 g, the smartwatch should hardly be felt on the wrist.

Huawei has opted for an aluminum alloy case and a color palette with a total of five colors to choose from. The Chinese tech company wants to score points with the extensive Stay Fit app. As the name suggests, this is designed to turn the smartwatch into a virtual fitness coach.

This doesn’t just apply to tracking sports sessions. You should also be able to save food here to keep an eye on your calorie consumption. Sensors such as the self-developed Huawei TruSleep 4.0 and TruSeen 5.5 should be able to reliably measure physiological parameters such as sleep patterns and heart rate.

Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Edition

With its Watch 4 Pro Space Edition, however, the Chinese tech company goes a few steps further. This starts with the high-quality case, which is made of titanium and manufactured in accordance with the applicable requirements for aerospace.

Huawei MateBook X Pro and MatePad 11.5 S

Huawei also had something new to announce in the notebook and tablet segment. Firstly, there is the new Huawei MateBook X Pro, which weighs just 980 g.

Intel Core Ultra CPUs should ensure sufficient performance here. The new MatePad 11.5 also sounds promising and is primarily aimed at fans of strong display performance.

After all, it not only comes with a 2.8K resolution and 144 Hz. On top of that, the special PaperMatte display is designed to ensure perfect visibility even in bright sunlight.

Prices and availability

The Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Edition is now available to buy from the online store at an RRP of 649.00 euros. For the Watch Fit 3, on the other hand, the tech giant from China is calling for an RRP starting at an attractive 159.00 euros. It is certain that the MateBook X Pro and MatePad 11.5 S will also be released in this country. However, Huawei has not yet revealed when this will be the case.
